Haunted Hollows

Moving In

          Our hero's watched as the very man they hoped to stop the ascension of was laughing maniacally on the ruins of their home with the MH Agents being unable to fight the flesh like horror from the depths below their home. Our hero's were truly hopeless and the world as they knew it was doomed. The giant eye of the beast opened, and looked at them whilst creating the humanoid abominations to kill those who try to stop it.
2 Months Earlier
          The Calhoun family had been driving for 5 hours now but we're getting close to getting to their new home in the secluded forest of Haunted Hollows. Gregory asks his son Ron, "Hey Ron are you hungry?" "Well kinda," Ron replied.
"Well hi hungry I'm..." "YOU BETTER NOT FINISH THAT FUCKING SENTENCE!" Ron yelled. "Watch your language, as Mary is right there!"Anna their mother shouted. "Ugh fine, and besides she may be 9 but it's not like she is going to repeat it" Ron replied.  "Yeah and your 17 you shouldn't be saying that anyways" Anna stated. Mary then said "fuck." "Now look what you did Ron!" Anna said angrily. "Honey calm down" Gregory said. "Uhh this car ride has been so annoying" Johnson said under his breath. "Hey pal what was that you said?" Gregory asked". "Nothing" Johnson Replied. "Hey so where is your friend going to be staying exactly?" Anna asked. "In the basement of coarse" Gregory said enthusiastically. "Oh I thought I'd be staying on the couch as I didn't realize this home had a basement" Johnson said. "Hold on a sec how did you even afford this home as it's pretty big with 2 floors and a basement, and it's in the middle of the woods?" Ron asked. Gregory then said "Well it only costed 2000$ so it will probably be a fixer upper." Everyone else in the car groaned.
They pulled up into the driveway showing a 2 story suburban styled home with white walls and a black roof.
"Hmm the garage door doesn't work" Johnson said while trying to open the garage. "Well its a good thing the moving company already dropped all of our stuff here" Gregory said. "So now we just need to move all of our stuff in" Anna said. "Hey Ron why don't you take a look around the house with Mary" Gregory suggested. "Ugh fine" Ron said with an exhausted tone. "YAY!" Mary shouted excitedly. As the 2 walked around the house they didn't find anything really interesting, as everything was still outside getting moved in. However once they reached the garage they noticed a burned spot on the wall with a red stain below it, "Hey big bro what's that?" Mary then pointed towards the corner of the garage where it looked like a figure was standing. Ron anxious and confused then said "I uh d-don't know wha-what that is." They both then walked over to it. The figure was some inactive white humanoid bunny robot with the name "BunBun" written on its chest piece. Its arms where made of metal and it sat dormant on the ground with some sort of circular base with no legs and some strange lights on the bottom that weren't on. "You know let's just get out of here" Ron said anxiously. They then continued to explore the house till they got to the back yard. When they looked around the backyard they noticed it had a small playground with a slide and swings, along with a picnic table. Around the time they got inside it was starting to get dark but all the furniture had been put in place except that of the basement.
Gregory and Johnson were carrying a couch down to the basement when they saw something glowing out at the corner of their eye. "What is that?" Gregory asked. "Wait it's gone" Johnson said. "Hi" a calm voice said from behind them. They turned around slowly and then saw a creature made of magma with boots, gloves, and a chest plate made of an unknown dark rock. Gregory screamed whilst Johnson pulled out a gun and pointed it at the creature. "Woah woah I'm not here to cause any harm okay, and besides bullets wouldn't really do anything seeing as I'm made of lava" The creature said. "WHO AND WHAT ARE YOU!?" Johnson asked. Their yelling had attracted the of attention of the rest of the family. Anna, Mary, and Ron came running down the stairs all in shock when they saw the molten lava monster. "Welp this is a bad start. Well my name is Taz and I'm a molten lava monster with extendable limbs. I have lived here for a long time in the basement as I don't wish to harm anyone, and I'm very sorry for scaring you all" Taz said with a concerned tone. Anna then asked "Well why do you stay in this home specifically?" "Well if I get hit by rain it will slowly cause me to turn into rock and then I would die so I stay indoors" Taz replied. Ron then asked "Wait so is the robot in the garage also alive?" "Excuse me the what in the garage?" Gregory said while confused. "Yes, and me and her are great friends" Taz responded. "Wait does this mean we are now living with you 2?" Anna asked. "Well I guess, but I won't cause any problems and BunBun is actually very helpful with a lot of things." Taz responded. Johnson puts his gun away while asking where Taz and BunBun will stay. Taz responds with "Well I will stay down here and BunBun will stay in the garage." Well I guess I'm sharing rooms with a lava monster" Johnson says. Mary then asks "So can we be friends?" "Sure!" Taz says.
As they go upstairs to start preparing to make dinner they see BunBun now active and seeming to be examining her surroundings. "Oh new residents!" Bun Bun says excitedly. Johnson notices green lights on some sort of circular base which look to be allowing her to float about 1 foot above the ground. "Hey so uh are you BunBun?" Johnson asks. BunBun replies with "yes." "Oh so what are you doing?"Johnson asks. "I'm cleaning this place as there is dust on the sealing." BunBun replies. "Oh so do you know anything about this home like why there are monsters and why it's so cheap?" Johnson asks curiously. "Oh well I don't know why there are monsters but I can tell you that the reason the home is so cheap is that it has a history of the residents going missing or ending up dead because a lot of the monsters are very hostile. So I would be careful in the woods if I were you." BunBun replies. "O-oh" Johnson says. After about 30 minutes of them all talking they sit down and eat. "I'm very sorry and I know it took you a lot of effort to make this dinner but I can't eat it, as I'm a robot." BunBun says with a sorry tone. Anna replies with "Oh don't worry it's ramen noodles they don't take much time to make." Johnson then brings up what BunBun told him about the history of the house and the Haunted Hollows forest.
After about an hour of discussion they all go to bed. Johnson gets up to check on something. "I swear I saw something while we were eating." Something bumps into Johnson's leg. "What the hell are you. He looks down to see a small quadrupedal creature with a light for a face. BunBun then comes in hearing the noise and asks him "what is going on in here?" "Could you tell me what this is?" Johnson asks. BunBun replies saying "Well we named it Lighty and it actually helps people see in the dark. And now I'm going back to my charging station in the garage." "Uh thanks BunBun" Johnson replies. "I swear I had seen something in the mirror. Well I'm just going to make sure everything's locked." Johnson went around making sure all the windows and doors to the outside were locked, and then went to lay down on the air mattress.
