Chapter 7: Is this really happening?

It's been a year after you and vince officially started dating, he had agreed to get clean for you so he wouldn't worry about almost killing you again. You had been acting weird for last couple of weeks, the only person who knew why was Shy. You were sitting on the couch nervously waiting for Vince to come home, Shy noticed you were nervous and she places her hand on your shoulder. "Don't be scared Y/N, I know he will accept your proposal so don't you worry." Shy said, you took a deep breath and nodded. "Thanks Shy." You said, "No worries, Y/N, that's what friends are for." Shy said. Eventually you heard Vince's car pull up in the driveway, you took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. You hid the box and saw vince open the front door.

"Y/N! I'm home!" Vince called out for you, you met him at the door and gave him a soft kiss on the lips. "Hi baby!" You said with a soft smile, Vince kissed the tip of your nose and smiled back. "Heya sweetheart, you didn't miss me too much did you?" Vince asked, "Oh I missed you very much." You replied chuckling softly, Vince picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist. "Well..how about I make up for lost time?" He asked with a seductive growl, you shudder and clear your throat. "Actually Vince, there's something I've wanted to ask you." You said, Vince puts you on your feet and you clear your throat.

"Vince, I've loved you since day one. You've given me so much happiness and you've made me proud by getting rid of all of the drugs and alcohol you've been consuming and bettering yourself not only as a human but as a rockstar. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend than you. that's why I want to ask you one thing." You said pausing and dropping on one knee, "Vincent Neil Wharton, Will you marry me?" You asked, vince covered his mouth and pulled you up to kiss you deeply as he tilted you back. You giggle in the kiss and pull off, "So?" You asked looking at vince. "Yes! Yes I will Y/N." Vince said picking you back up and kissing you deeply and lovingly. "Now, about that lost time you owe me.." You said running a finger down his chest, Vince grinned and carried you to the bedroom. 


A few hours pass by and You and Shy were goofing off this time, you kept throwing packing peanuts at her and she kept throwing a pillow at you. You dumped all of the packing peanuts on her and laughed as you threw more at her. "WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THESE PACKING PEANUTS?!" Shy said covering her head. "Don't ask questions, just let it happen." you said through laughter. "Holy shit you guys, don't forget to clean this up." Nikki said walking by, you laugh and began to clean up the packing peanuts, once they were all cleaned up you put them away where they wouldn't spill out again, Vince walked by and placed the usual kiss on your forehead and ruffling your hair. you chuckled and fixed your hair, "Hey, Shy, Y/N. We have a show in a few minutes and it will go until 8 PM, you guys gonna come see us?" You looked at shy and said "Nah I think shy and I will stay home, we need a few hours to ourselves." You said. Nikki nodded, Nikki grabbed his equipment and kissed shy softly. Vince grabbed his equipment and kissed you softly and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. "See you later baby." Vince said lifting your chin and kissing you full on once more. "Bye Vince." You said and watched as Vince and the others left.

You and Shy watched a movie until you heard the boys come in laughing and talking about how awesome the show was. "Hey guys!" Nikki said greeting you two, you both turned to them and smiled softly "Hey boys! how was the show?" You asked. "God! you should have been there, it was awesome." Nikki said, Vince picks you up and sits down in your spot and holds you on his lap. You cuddled into his chest with a soft happy sigh, Vince gently strokes your head and even placing kisses on your head. Vince was always so sweet to you after shows or any other time. You kissed Vince softly and nuzzled him, you always felt safe in Vince's arms and you didn't want it any other way. Vince made you feel a certain way, you felt the love, compassion, and kindness. Even if you've only seen him as this horny tornado.

You gave all of your love to vince and he gave all of his love to you. You never wanted to give him up or leave him, you loved him too much to hurt him. Is this really happening? You were finally engaged to the man you loved the most and to the man who would give you everything in the world.
