"No way, I am not listening to any proposal from you," Akira said, and I punched his arm, which earned a scowl. We may not be accepting it, but we can still listen to what he has to say. No one has ever asked for both siblings. It was unheard of. Which was made it so interesting.

"We're listening." I turned back to Zac, mildly intrigued by what he had to offer. We have two completely different skill sets, so what does he need both of us for?

"I take you two on my next tour, where you will be the main act, and I could introduce you to all the big agencies that could set your careers off, whether that be music or beyblade." He told us, his eyes darting between the two of us.

"But (y/n) doesn't know how to sing or anything, she sure as hell doesn't know how to play an instrument, and-" My brother continued to protest against the idea

"Oh, shut up, Akira." I interrupted, tired of listening to him already. He offers nothing to the conversation, anyway, he's just a distraction. "Why do you want us to come on tour with you? What do you get out of it?"

"A sharp one, aren't you?" Zac chuckled "Well, that's for me to know, and for you to find out." He stared at me, a smug smile on his face. "And while we're on the subject of why, why do you care what my motives are?"

"I care because my brother, for some reason, seems to hate you, and I have no talent on either subject this proposal addresses. So, therefore, you must be getting something else out of this because I highly doubt you're doing this from the goodness of your heart. No one's that kind. So there must be something else." I met the blond's gaze, to which he shrugged at my entire deduction. I hate people like him. They just grate on me. No reasons, all just because.

"You're a smart cookie, I'll give you that. But you will not figure out my motives from that deduction alone." He told me, smiling at the two of us, and I think I finally understood him. Or at least enough of the situation to make a reasonable decision. "I'll give you two some time to think."

"There's no need. We accept your proposal, Zac." I said, returning his smile with a sickly sweet one of my own. Maybe I was being a little too wary earlier. This seems like it's gonna be a fun little trip. I can't wait to see where this will lead. A broken man climbing his way to the top through two of the greatest prodigies of this generation. Nothing could go wrong, right?

"WHAT?! (y/n), are you crazy?!" Akira shouted, slamming his hands against the island. I spared him a glance and sighed, spinning around on the stool and leaning back against the island, looking up at the ceiling.

"Calm down, bro. What have we got to lose from this offer?" I listened to his breathing, which was shallow and quick. He was afraid of what could happen - that he could lose everything. He had always been wary of his fame, and had feared any person who had tried to get close to him because he thought they would take it out from beneath him. It was a sad existence, really.

"Nothing." He murmured, and I felt his eyes on me. I know what I'm doing. Have faith in my abilities. I'm not a frightened little girl anymore. I am in control.

"And what have we got to gain?" I met his gaze, and I knew this was eating him from the inside out. He was making a deal with the enemy, and that goes against everything we stood for as a family - as a person. Yes, this could crash and burn. But it could also be beautiful in the end.

"Everything." He gave me a huff of annoyance, knowing that it made sense to at least test it out, even if we hate it from day one. We could always just leave if it goes downhill. It's not like he said we had to see it through or anything, so we can dip whenever. I just hope he doesn't take it too far. What are the lengths he would go to get fame back?

"Exactly. So push away any scorn or disdain you have for that pretty thing over there because you're going to have to deal with him for the time being." I said, grinning. It was great being the 'smart' one because people will just automatically say you're right and put their blind faith in you because you should know what you're doing even if you're bullshitting through your teeth and there's no way they would know.

"Thank you, (y/n). I appreciate your cooperation with this entire idea." Zac said, a small smile of relief on his face. I'll admit, it was a risky choice of people. He has my respect for being so ballsy and even considering us as an option.

"You're very welcome, Zac," I replied, getting a rush of excitement. Why be anxious about this plan's inevitable demise? Sure, it might crash and burn but right now we're soaring, free and full of opportunity. I'm excited.

"But what about mum and dad?" Akira asked, his eyes frantic as he still tried to find an excuse to get out of the trip. But, despite his best efforts, he had no luck.

"I've already asked them, and they said they're fine with whatever choice you make." Zac supplied, his eyes lighting up with glee. It was obvious he had already cleared all bases. He wasn't going to let something so trivial get in his way.

"Of course they said that," Akira mumbled, finally defeated and I chuckled. I mean, at least there's some passion behind this. It might help him improve - to one-up Zac. I find his reaction hilarious, either way.

"Stop whining, bro, and just get over it. Accept what's happening, alright? We're going on tour!" I exclaimed as Akira sighed and Zac smiled. This is gonna be awesome!

"I'll pick you up tomorrow after school if that's alright with you guys." Zac tilted his head to the side as he queried us, and I felt the uneasiness seeping off of Akira.

"That's fine," I said before my brother could say anything that could run this opportunity. I stood up and shook Zac's hand. So it's legit. We're doing this.
