"The Prophecy Part 2" (Chapter 5)

The warriors are chanting while walking through the jungle, timeskip to them still walking through the jungle but they are exhausted and still chanting Teca but with tiredness in their voices. The continue to travel deeper into the forest and chanting Teca but with even more tiredness laced in their voices. A crow caws. Chiapa snarls and the king raises his sword, signaling the army to stop walking. Bats screech overhead and Chiapa snarls at the forest in front of them, the king looks around before turning confused as he sees many animals running from the forest. "Warriors of Teca, prepare for battle. " The king tells his warriors, his sons included. "Lance ready. " Lance says and getting into a ready position, "Shield ready, Papa." Shield says, getting ready to attack, "Daggers even readier." Daggers says also getting into position.

"Did you know prophecies are just stories?", A familiar voice says, "Fables, you know uh... " The voice says, but then says something else in spanish. "They're there to make children believe their parents are in control." The voice who reveals to be Mictlan, he chuckles, "Ah, such a pity that none of you will make it to the divine gate." Mictlan says, then laughs slightly. "Your journey ends here, mortals." The warriors gasp as Lord Mictlan comes into view. "You, little eagle man. You must be the one they call King Teca. " Mictlan says, referring to the king. "And you, monster, you must be Lord Mictlan. " The king says. "Monster? I am the god of..." Lord Mictlan starts"... war!" Mictlan says in a more demonic and deep tone of voice. He then laughs, but his voice is distorted, some warriors run away, "It's too much!" One shouts. The warriors then start to chant Teca. "We are the prophecy! " The three brothers shout, "And we shall end you! " The king shouts at Mictlan. The king laughs, "Ay! For Maya!" The king shouts and lets out a battle cry. All the warriors are yelling and running to attack Mictlan, who just chuckles.

A certain goddess and prince were watching over the whole thing , the goddess had tears in her eyes, "I can't watch!" Y/N exclaims in a whisper and hides her face in Zatz chest, sobbing quietly, Zatz hugs her and speaks soft words to her, he gives her a kiss on her forehead and lays his head on her head. Zatz just looks at the war going on in front of him, in disappointment.

(🕌At The Temple🕌)

Maya and her mother are seen at the top of the temple, "Oh, I can't wait for them to return, mama!" Maya exclaims in eagerness, the queen chuckles at her, "Ay, Maya. The journey to the Divine Gate is long, mija." The queen says walking to Maya's side, "It'll take time." The queen says to Maya, "In the meantime, we need to keep ourselves busy." The queen tells Maya, Maya just looks up like she's thinking about something, "Right. Mama, I'm hungry." Maya tells the queen, making puppy eyes. The queen gasps, "I will cook your favorite dish!" The queen says, clapping her hands together, then walking off to the kitchen, talking to herself in spanish. "Gracias, Mamá." Maya shouts to her mother, she takes off her bandage that was on her arm, "Oh, this is such a cool scar!" Maya exclaims, looking at her scarred arm, "I can't wait to show my brothers." Maya tells her bird, that Shield got for her, "I mean, I could wait until they're back," Maya says, walking closer to the edge, "But maybe I can meet them halfway." Maya says, jumping off and landing down below, she then slides down the staircase handles, she gets back on her feet and she reaches the ground, she sneakily passes by a guard. She giggles as she starts reaching the forest.

(🌳In The Forest🌲)

Maya is running through the forest, looking for her father and brothers. She pants as she stops running, seeing footsteps. She laughs as she continues running, she jumps over some fallen structures, once she sees the forest she goes to hide behind a rock. "Papa. Hermanos. It's me, Maya. " Maya whispers, thinking her father and brothers can hear her. She suddenly turns confused as to why they didn't respond to her, she climbs up a tree to get a better look. "Chiapa?" Maya tells herself in confusion, it them shows Chiapa dragging something from the bushes. "What in the n--" Maya starts but then gasps, as she sees her father in a very poor condition, "Papa!" Maya shouts at her father, worry laced in her voice. "Maya. Run, mija." Her father says, in a hoarse voice. Chiapa backs up as he sees Colmillo, Y/N and Zatz perched upon him. Chiapa whines before running away. "You want him, you'll have to go through me." Maya threatens, pulling out two arrows for defense. "Ah, courage runs through your veins, Princess." Zatz tells Maya, Y/N jumps off Colmillo, holding some sort of package in her arms. "Leave, now." Maya threatens the goddess, in a low voice, holding the arrows in front of her. When Y/N starts walking closer, the king raises his sword up, "I mean you no harm, King Teca." Y/N tells the king, "You're hurt. A fight now will be dishonorable." Y/N tells the king, truthfully.

Y/N then starts kneeling down, placing the package on the ground and opening it, "Your brothers' weapons..." Y/N tells Maya, revealing it to be Maya's late brothers' weapons. Maya gasps. "...they belong to your family now." Y/N stands up, "Honor them." Y/N tells Maya, feeling bad for the girl. "Oh no.." Maya says tearfully, the king gasps sadly. "No..." Maya sobs, Zatz helps Y/N get on Colmillo, "I am sorry for your loss." Y/N says with sincerity laced in her voice. "Be well, Princess Maya." Zatz tells Maya, "We'll see you soon." Y/N says. They start riding away on Colmillo, heading back to the underworld.

The king's back crack as he tries to stand up, "Papa, what happened?" Maya asked her father with worry, "Your brothers, our mighty army, they are... no more." The king tells Maya, "You fought all the gods?" Maya asks he father, "It was-- It was just Lord Mictlan." The king says, looking dazed, Maya gasps, "Maya, they are coming for you." The king tells Maya, Maya looked at him and has a look of determination. "I swear to you, Papa, I will avenge my brothers. " Maya tells her father, tears threatening to spill, she then hugs her father.

Y/N sighs, "What's wrong Y/N?" Zatz asks Y/N, "Nothing Zatzy, I-I.. I just feel horrible for what's happened to Maya..." Y/N says, starting to tear up. Zatz stops and looks at Y/N, he puts his hand on her cheek and she leans into the touch, "It isn't your fault Y/N, your father chose to be like this and you never knew this would happen." Zatz tells Y/N truthfully, Y/N just smiles and leans away from Zatz' hand, "You always know how to make me feel better Zatzy." Y/N tells Zatz "That's what friends are for." Zatz tells Y/N, "Yeah.." Y/N says.

"I wish I had the words to tell him/her......I'm in love with him/her...."

(OKAY HOOOLDD UP! Yes Zatz and Acat are dating, but Zatz always kept his feelings to himself, because he thought he and Acat were a good couple but... you know what happens later on!!)
