Two Months Later

Dominic and Chloe's Wedding

Grace stood with the rest of the bridesmaids, watching Chloe and Dominic say their wedding vows. She was having a hard time keeping her tears back. She looked down the row of groomsmen and caught Hunter's eye. He winked. She smiled.

Turning back to watch her brother's she wiped a tear. The first member of the Wagner clan was getting married. It seemed like just yesterday they were playing in the park together as kids.

"...You may kiss the bride."

Grace listened to the applause as Dominic gave his bride a long kiss. As they walked back down the aisle, she admired Chloe's dress. It was the most gorgeous thing she'd ever seen, with flowery lace covering the large, white, ball gown. Meeting Hunter in the middle, she slipped her hand in the crook of his elbow and walked back down with him, her face radiant.

The reception was even more fun. Her parents couldn't stop crying over their son. Especially at the first dance. Her mother wept as she watched Dominic gracefully dance with his new wife.

"I guess those dancing lessons paid off." Hunter whispered in her ear.

She turned, "Dancing lessons?"

He grinned, "Dominic asked me to give him some. He said he's a clutz at dancing."

Grace smiled. "Yeah, I noticed he got better."

He stuck his hand out in front of her, "So then, my fair lady, may I show off my dancing skills to you?"

She took his hand, "Of course."

They danced for at least an hour, until a love song came on. "Hey!" Hunter smiled, "I requested this one."

"Really? This is my favorite song!"

Hunter smiled. Dominic stopped dancing with Chloe, which meant everyone else did the same.

Hunter bent down on one knee in front of Grace and held out a ring, "I know that this is your brother's wedding and all, and I don't want to ruin it for him, but Grace, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. Will you marry me?"

She pinched the bridge of her nose to stop herself from crying, "I love you too. And yes, I will marry you."

Applause rang out and Grace's mother started crying all over again. Hunter slipped the ring onto her finger and stood. "What would be a proposal without a kiss?"

She smiled. He kissed her. So passionately, so full of love, so strong. She wrapped her arm around him, kissed him back, and let her heart fly.

And when Chloe tossed the bouquet behind her back, guess who caught it?

Grace.
