While this conversation had been taking place, Hajime and Atsumu had been sitting together watching the two flirt. "Oikawa's really good at that, damn!" Atsumu felt like he needed some popcorn as he sat on Hajimes lap, who was in a chair he stole from what he only assumed could be Oikawa's work table. He rubbed Atsumu's thighs and hummed in agreement, thinking about how right this moment felt.
Hajime wasn't really a feelings guy, and out of his partners he knew now that Sakusa and Oikawa would be the ones best at that. They would know what to say and when to make things romantic. They would sit and have conversations about magic and how it interconnected lives and the world.
Hajime could sit and do equations for hours, and not understand a word of what they said. He was glad Sakusa finally found someone who could match him. Atsumu flicked Iwaizumis forehead, and looked up at him with those pretty eyes. "Where'd ya go, big guy?"
Haji smiled. "Nowhere I'd rather be than here, Atsu." He looked around and noticed that a few mages and their companions were heading off for a break or snack. He realised they had been here for a while now and soon people would start to get hungry.
Iwa smiled as an idea came to mind, of how he could help his mates. He stood, picking up Atsumu and sitting him back down. "I'm going to go ask that Kuroo guy something, be right back."
Atsumu sighed and swung his legs in the chair, closing his eyes and wishing he could go for a swim, or at least have a shit load of water. On this day off, most of his mer friends would be at the beach, swimming and having the time of their lives. He would of course rather be with all his mates, but the urge was strong.
Sakusa walked towards him and noticed how fidgety Atsumu was getting in the chair. "Feeling restless?" The blonde nodded, and Sakusa smiled. "Go for a swim, Atsu. We won't go anywhere, and you can have fun for an hour or two. This is our day off."
"Really!?" Atsumu jumped up and kissed Sakusa, smiling against his mouth. "Okay, I'll just tell Kawababy and you can tell Haji when he comes back from whatever he wanted to do with that Kuroo guy."
Atsumu walked up to Oikawa who had his eyes closed and was scooping large glowing mounds of glowing magic from the air around him. It was so pretty, how he cut through it like water. Atsu was stuck for a second.
Right. Water, swimming, informing.
"Hey Oikawa?" He looked up and smiled a little. "Yeah?"
"I might go for a swim! I was just wondering how I get back in...?" Oikawa smiled. "Come here."
Atsumu walked towards the edge of the circle and Oikawa walked towards him. "I won't bite. Now can I kiss you?" Atsumu blinked.
"What? Uh- I mean of course, haha, why couldn't-"
Oikawa rolled his eyes and pecked the boy on the forehead. "You're lucky you asked now, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to give you this key."
"Key?" Atsumu touched his forehead where a small symbol glowed, then faded into his skin. "Go on, the doors will open for you now." Atsumu pouted. "What is it?"
"I thought I was getting a real kiss." Oikawa raised an eyebrow. "You want one that bad?" Atsumu shrugged. "I don't know, do I?"
Oikawa giggled and Atsumu felt much happier once he heard the angelic sound. "If you insist."
Tooru leaned in, and kissed Atsumu on the mouth. Slowly. He went to pull away, thinking he had shocked the mermaid to death, but he felt a hand on the back of his head, and Atsumu kissed him hard. Atsumu took control of the kiss, and Oikawa let out a little breathy noise that had the mermaid very much excited. Oikawa's lips were so soft, and Tsumu loved it. The feel of his fluffy hair and the little noise he made...
