The beginning of the fog

Chapter 4, Way of the Raccoon's

(Third person POV)

The boy's are in the desert less then a mile away from California so they decide to take a break and park on the side of the road

Julian:"That..Was some insane shit"

Terry:"Yeah I can agree to that, sucks we lost a gas can"

Says Terry while getting a brownie while Julian looks at him with a "Are you serious?" Look

Julian:"You're worried about the gas can, when we could have lost our lives even though we have another"

Terry nods while Julian Sighs and smiles, he locks the car and looks up and notices something

Julian:"Hey terry?"

Terry:"Hmmm?" Terry says while taking a bite from a brownie

Julian:"has this always been there?" Julian says while pointing at the roof of the car where a closed stargazer is

Terry:"let's open it, stars are usually nice"

Terry opens it and they both look at the star's, Julian leans his chair back with a switch to use as a bed while Terry does the same while the boy's say nothing

2 minutes later

Terry:"You know, this has been so crazy but with you, this is atleast barrable, guess there can be fun in the apocalypse huh?"

Terry waits for a reply but gets nothing and looks to Julian and see's he's asleep and chuckles to himself

Terry:"Guess I should get some shut eye aswell, Night Julian"

Terry turns to his side and goes to sleep

Day two of the apocalypse
Julian's POV

It's cold, so cold I don't know where I am but it's dark I look around and see nothing but darkness, all of a sudden I hear a Caw from behind me I turn around and see a Raven watching some type of sphere I try to walk towards it but every step feels tiring and it looks like it goes farther with every step I take, i run towards it and eventually make It to the orb while the raven stares at me and the orb telling me to touch it, I reach for it but while reaching the raven speaks with a dark heavy tone

???:"Wake up."

Julian:"What..?"

???:"Wake up!"

All of a sudden the room starts to close in as I watch in horror but I see the orb still there so I reach out but the walls close in and start to crush me, it feels almost too real for a dream, I reach out for the orb

???:"WAKE UP."

I manage to touch the orb with a finger and suddenly I feel like I'm being pulled out and then...

Terry POV

All of a sudden Julian wakes up and I sigh in relief

Julian:"What happened?.."

Myself:"I don't know man, I was calling you but you we're still knocked out cold by the way it's morning"
