Timidly, Ziggy approaches the tree, Aurora already waiting for her to bring the supplies over. Ziggy took a deep breath while looking up, remembering the last moments she spent with her sister and Melissa. She gasped loudly as Deena neared her from behind, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Both of them watched Aurora sitting beneath the tree before they scanned the tree up and down, thinking about what was to come. Ziggy walked up to Aurora as Deena got lost in Sarah Fier's memories from 1666. It was almost as if she could hear the crowd chanting to 'hang the witch' unknowingly condemning the wrong person, bringing death and destruction to their settlement for years to come.

"Do you think this will work?"

"It has to because I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't" Ziggy replied with a miserable expression.

"What if we all die instead?"

"We won't. Only Nick has to die tonight" Aurora had a reserved look, she had a feeling that the outcome wasn't going to be great, even if Nick dies. She hadn't even thought what the towns would think about her, it would all come to light what Nick did. She wasn't sure if she could handle being a widow and the hate she was sure to face. She gave a shaky smile to Ziggy and looked at the supplies they had.

"Everyone says Shadyside sucks because it's full of shitty people. That bad things happen here because we're bad, that we deserve what we have coming." Deena started, "That's how it was for Sarah, and that's how it's been for us. But it's all bullshit."

Aurora looked at the ground, knowing most of this speech doesn't apply to her as she was from Sunnyvale and she hadn't faced the hate that Shadysiders had to face daily.

"Okay, just because we're weird and smart and different doesn't mean they can feed us through their meat grinder. Not anymore. It's been three centuries. No one else has gotten this far. It stops here... tonight. It stops with us. We're gonna kill this motherfucker."

Everyone looked at each other, coming to terms with the direction the situation was heading and what they had to do to keep everyone safe. Not just each other but the whole town.

"For Sarah and Eudora, for Kate and Simon. For Cindy and Melissa. For all of us. For Shadyside. Now let's do this" Deena finished. Aurora gave a small smile at her motivational speech which soon turned into a cringe as Deena pulled the knife along her hand.

Deena clenched her hand into a fist and squeezed to drip her blood into the bucket. Everyone jumped into action to do whatever task had been set. Aurora started filling up the water guns as the others began making traps and spray painting profanity aimed at Nick.

It didn't take long to fill up the water guns and Rory moved to help Ziggy with the 'Carrie' moment that Nick was going to have. Aurora let out a quiet laugh that caused Ziggy to give her a questioning glance. Aurora looked up and gave her a teasing smile.

"I guess our friendship has come in a full 360 since we first met. One of the first things we were going to do was 'Carrie' Shelia before Nick convinced us to use the insects from science and nature." Aurora explained.

Ziggy smiled at the thought but couldn't help but worry if a 360 meant the end of their friendship. She quickly dismissed that thought, Nick was going to die and their friendship would mend over time.

"Between us, I thought our idea was better," She said with a shrug. Aurora laughed before agreeing. It felt nice being able to laugh about the good things that happened at camp. "Are you ready?"

"Truthfully? No. I can't help but feel that somethings going to go wrong." Rory confided, Ziggy told her that everything would be alright but neither knew if that was the truth or wishful thinking.

They worked in silence after that and quickly set up the trap. They rushed to some water guns and helped make trails towards the traps for the killers. Aurora noticed Deena near her and had to say what was on her mind.

"I'm sorry,"

"What?"

"I'm sorry for what happened to you, your friends, your girlfriend. I should've stopped him before now but I was a coward,"

"Oh... I... it's oka-"

"I don't want pity and it's not okay. I just needed to apologise if I don't get the chance after we're done." Aurora said, Deena gave her a smile.

Deena thought she and Rory would've got along great if this situation never happened, that maybe if Aurora got the chance to have kids like she wanted they would've been the same age. Aurora definitely would've been the 'cool mum' that was responsible but let them have fun. Her house would've been a safe haven for her kids and their friends, but she had been dealt a bad hand and didn't get a chance of the life she deserved. Always suffering for others mistakes and in turn making the wrong decisions.

Aurora and Deena make their way over to the socket meeting up with Josh who quickly plugged the blacklight in as Deena shouted to Ziggy to 'cut it' who then alerted Martin to 'cut it'. Martin pulled all the levers down one by one which turned the majority of the lights off showing the luminous arrows and writing.

Everyone became alert as the door opened causing the bells Deena had set up to ring. Josh, Deena and Aurora shared a nod before rushing off their waiting places.

It was game time and there was no turning back.
