~ She was bad with words and so he read her eyes~
The weather was usually cold with light sunlight in December, but Mumbai never deals with the effect of seasons, neither summer nor winter.
It was the day when the cold breeze flowed with minimal rays of light making the happy vibes within nature itself.
Avni was sipping her tea sitting on the kitchen counter, engrossed in her thoughts. She was here to cook or to bake something to keep herself busy in some works or as it's said an empty mind is devil's workshop.
Either she was thinking about Neil or it was them or maybe him. She had the sane mind of being an adult, she feels what she wanted but her want never gets with her will.
Neil, she knows what it feels like to be not to be cared for or not to feel worthy enough and she knows him, she saw how he cares for a minute smiles to bring back, how he cares to make her comfortable at the moment, how he gets scared when she gets hurt but...
She knows better than to not give any false hopes to anyone, she had seen a version of life where the relationship between two people needs individual support and share from both sides and she isn't worthy enough to make any relation work.
Be it any relation, Rishte Nahi Sambhalte Usse and she's scared to lose a tiny bit of budding friendship in bubbling another one.

He stood in front of her door, knocking for the third time before he heard her melodious voice of "coming baba" but that doesn't stop him from hearing it one more time.
He had planned to take her with him, knowing well that her roommate- Monica isn't home, and is out of town for a day he can spend some time with her, to know her some more.
And while he was engrossed in his favourite land all the way smiling to himself, the door opened already with Avni staring at him like a maniac.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that? I know I'm handsome enoug-" he asked smiling silently knowing well she would return.
"Oh Mr Chatter Box, stop your self-praising session and tell me what are you doing at my door?" before he could blabber more she stopped him scrunching her brows.
"everything later but what makes you say me, Chatter box? and have some manners, Ms Mehta, ask me to come inside!",
he looked at her from top to bottom where she was cladded in a deep blue crop top with white shorts looking pretty but a teekhi mirchi with her red face where she gets irked as he annoyed her.
Avni : And if I didn't move aside toh tum chale jaoge kya? ( She asked with a tight lipped smile)
Neil : Oh not at all madam, that's why just move aside to let me enter.
And before she could return, he moved inside pushing her, which made her stare at him with so much irritation but that doesn't last long when she saw him moving to her with white orchids in his hand, her favourite ones.
Orchids can make her smile and that calmness when she smells them. It smells like a place of her favourite ones.
She liked orchids because they symbolise purity and a sense of stress reliever. He smiled when he saw her face lighten up looking at orchids, how beautiful she looks when her cheeks flushed with an adorable smile. He loves it when she smiles.
She took the orchids which he gave her smilingly, keeping aside the bickering session. A sense of calmness spread across her when she smells them widely, her dad use to give her orchids every time she gets worried or stressed about anything, which used to calm her down.
