Making Fiends 2

Chapter 2

"Well, the first thing to do is to maybe clear out minds off of this, and then we'll think about it later and we will eventually find a solution for this problem," Charlotte said as she got up from sitting down. "Singing will probably, uh, not get us out of this mess," Marvin said to Charlotte's thinking. "You might be right. Maybe I should be like Vendetta in this house and see what I can come up with, for example," Charlotte dashed over to the kitchen counter again. "I am going to destroy everyone with this... set of chalk on this table! Hahaha!" Charlotte impersonated Vendetta and had an accented voice to match Vendettas. "Vendetta plays with chalk?" Marvin said, getting up and moving near Charlotte to see. "She secretly must have a fun side. I guess since it's Vendetta's, she was probably going to play outside or something." Charlotte speculated the chalk she was holding. It was the generic school playground chalk all kindergarteners pretty much used. "Let's try drawing with it outside," Marvin suggested to Charlotte. "Whoopee! Let's go!" Charlotte dragged Marvin's hand and ran outside. "My Hand!" Marvin exclaimed as he felt it stretch with a little force. Charlotte let go of Marvin, and she dropped all the chalk sticks onto the ground. "Alright Marvin, watch this. As you may know, a few online world artists sell their artwork for a billion dollars for drawing monkeys. But this will change the world because I draw for free." Charlotte said as she was confident, beginning to draw on the pavement of Vendetta's house. "Cool, I think," Marvin said, staring at Charlotte's drawing. Charlotte made a few strokes with the chalk she had and made a blue superhero drawing of a character. Charlotte got up after finishing her drawing which felt like hours. "Phew, that was a lot of work. What do you think?" Charlotte asked Marvin. Marvin stared at the artwork on the ground and nodded at it. "That looks pretty cool. You are a good person for not selling that for a thousand dollars." Marvin said. They both had cleared their mind of Vendetta being gone. "Thanks. What do you want me to draw next?" Charlotte said, splashing a bucket of water on the ground to clear the chalk as she was looking up at Marvin. "You should draw a picture of uhh-" Marvin looked behind Charlotte at the chalk that was on the ground, making a portal from a chalk zone. The drawing that Charlotte drew had come to life. Charlotte looked at what Marvin was staring at and stood back up. "Ooh! A new friend! You look like the thing I just drew, I'll call you Snap." Charlotte was excited to have another friend. "It's a fiend!!" Marvin yelled, backing up a bit. Snap hopped out of the portal and it closed. He looked up at Charlotte and put his hand out to shake her hand. "I love handshakes, He's safe Marvin!" Charlotte called over Marvin to come closer to Snap. "Deez nuts," said Snap, smiling at Charlotte and Marvin. Charlotte died of laughter from the first words Snap said, falling and giggling at it. After a while of Charlotte's laughter, Marvin picked her up off the ground and looked at her until she calmed down. "Are you alright Charlotte? Marvin said, looking at her in the eyes. "Weee! That was funny Snap. By the way, Marvin, When I fell, I saw you had a banana in your pants!" Charlotte said after looking over at Marvin. Marvin then got nervous and held the banana in his pocket. "Uhh, I, well, I always have a banana in my pants." Charlotte dug her hand into Marvin's pocket and took out the banana and handed it over to Snap. "My banana!" Marvin exclaimed as he watched his snack be gone. "Here you go Snap, a tasty banana!" Charlotte gave Snap the banana and he ate the whole thing without peeling it. "Yum yum." Snap said after eating the Banana. Marvin looked at him eating the banana in a weirded-out way of not peeling the banana. There was a loud slam at the door the group was standing near as it opened, Grudge woke up from sleeping and came out of the house with a girl in his hands. She was struggling and moving her legs to get out of Grudge's hands as she was being held forcefully. "Big hamster!" Snap pointed at Grudge. Grudge mumbled a bit and walked over and dropped down the girl in front of Charlotte. Hi, Vendetta's hamster. Vendetta disappeared, but you can stay inside. By the way, Who's this girl?" Charlotte said as she shook Grudge's hand. She looked down at the body on the floor of the girl that Grudge held. "Is she dead?" Marvin said. The girl was on the ground still. She slowly got up and introduced herself in a really tired voice. "Hello, my name is Molly, was just running around your house after opening a door, and now I'm lost here forever." Molly said. She looked around the place and noticed its dark environment. "Yep, 100% sure I am lost." confirmed Molly. "This isn't my house." Charlotte said. "Well I don't know who's it is but it looks really ugly just like..." Molly thought about a joke to come up with for the joke she was about to make. "Yo Mama!" Snap said, laughing at Molly as her face got disappointed from him taking away her joke. "Don't worry Vendetta's hamster, we'll get her back soon and I promise." Charlotte said. She petted Grudge and he walked back into Vendetta's house as the group was waiting on what to do. "Well, Molly, nice to meet you. We're trying to get our friend Vendetta back and she is probably dead. We can get you back home if you do help us unless you want to stay here in Clamberg." Charlotte asked Molly. "I'll think about it. What's the plan on finding your friend?" Molly asked Charlotte. "Alright well, she's green, she is mean sometimes, she has hair hanging down the side and her name is Vendetta." Marvin said. Molly pulled out her notepad and wrote down what Marvin said to keep track of who Vendetta is. "I've got an idea! What if we go inside Vendetta's house and look for something that we can use to find her?" Snap said, looking up at Charlotte. "Let's make some fiends, the right way." Charlotte said as she was walking back inside the house. "You're making a what?" Molly said, seeing Charlotte and everyone else walks in. "A fiend, you know, A devil I guess if you want to say." Marvin explained easily to Molly. "Hm. Let's see what the heck a fiend is I guess." Molly said, marching right along with the group into the house. Molly looked back to see if anyone was behind her. She saw a greenish-blue girl like Charlotte going over to Vendetta's house, rushing in and closing the door. Charlotte hugged Grudge as he laid onto Vendetta's sofa that she liked to sit on. "Hey Charlotte, if that's your name I remember, you've got a visitor coming up to the house." Molly said as she pointed to the door with her thumb. "A visitor? I didn't ask for anyone to come. Let's get some clams out for her, Vendetta's favorite." Charlotte said as she dashed over to the kitchen and petted Grudge again. Grudge groaned and continued laying down. Marvin and Molly walked into the kitchen as they wanted to also prepare clams on plates with her. Snap sat on the other sofa near Grudge, laying down the same way as he did. "Thanks for helping me, Molly and Marvin. So Molly, as we prepare these clams for us to eat with the visitor, How does the girl look? Green with short hair on the side?" Charlotte questioned Molly as she was drinking juice out of Vendetta's fridge. "She's more of a turquoise if I'd describe it specifically," Charlotte spat out the juice she drank and all of it went onto Marvin's face. "My face!" Marvin exclaimed. "Sorry Marvin, let me wipe that off for you. But Molly saw a turquoise girl here... It's no other than Marion." Charlotte wiped off Marvin's wet face with a towel, surprised that Marion was coming up to Vendetta's house as she was a bit scared. "What's wrong with her? I'll talk to her when she knocks, don't worry." Molly said as she walked over to the front door, expecting a knock soon. "Hmm..." Charlotte's face turns into a neutral smile as she is upset about the time Marion hated her for wanting to be friends with Vendetta. "Charlotte, uhh.. I'll protect you from her." Marvin said to Charlotte as he held her hand that was on the kitchen counter. "Okay." Charlotte felt safe from Marvin saying that. The door knocked and Molly opened it. "Hey! Hi! Hello! How are you?" Molly welcomed Marion. Marion looked at Molly, weirded out a little. "Vendetta has a person in her house as annoying as Charlotte?" She thought to herself. "Hey. Can I talk to Vendetta?" Marion asked Molly. "She killed herself. Poof! Gone!" Molly described to her, smiling to see if she would take it. "Just move out of my way please, I need to be Vendetta's best friend again." Marion asked Molly again, getting a little angry from it. "I already told you she's dead, sorry!" Molly said again to Marion. "Let me in!" Marion pushed against Molly at the door, making Molly struggle to push her back. "Hey! I said she's not here, she's dead!" Molly yelled at Marion in a struggling voice, her weight going against her small body. "There's no way she's dead, so move!" Marion yelled back and pushed against Molly again, making her fall onto the floor as she got into the house. Molly screamed from the fall and laid there as she was a little weak from pushing against Marion. Marvin, Charlotte, and Snap all jumped from Marion entering the house as she looked for Vendetta. "Stay here Charlotte, I'll talk to her." said Marvin as he left the kitchen and walked over to Marion. "M-Marvin!? What are you doing here in Vendetta's house?!" Marion questioned Marvin, confused as to what's going on. "We were fixing her house while she was at her job working. She's not home though." Marvin said formally to Marion to get her to leave. "Alright Marvin, what are you fixing in her house?" asked Marion as she suspected something was off from seeing a different-looking girl in Clamberg at Vendetta's door. "We are fixing uh, the door that you just broke with Molly on the ground." Marvin pointed at the opened door Marion came through from as Molly was still laying on the floor. "Is that stupid girl Charlotte inside someone else's body? Cause they both act the same." Marion said. Snap got out of the sofa he was sitting on and walked up to Marion. Marion backed away from Snap and got confused about what he was. "Deez Nuts!" said Snap. Marion looked at Snap with a neutral expression as if his joke wasn't funny. Charlotte overheard the joke and was about to burst out laughing, but was trying her best to not laugh. "Alright, Since this little "Molly" over here is Charlotte in another body, I guess she won't mind if I punch her right?" Marion said, angered as she couldn't find Vendetta. Charlotte moved closer to see what was happening as she was hiding from Marion, overhearing everything like Marion was louder than everyone. "You should probably not do that." Molly said as she got up and had an angry expression towards Marion. "Cry about it." Marion said to Molly, looking her in the eye. "You have a skill issue." Molly said back to Marion, also locking on with her eyes. Marion suddenly punched Molly on her arm quickly. Marvin and Snap covered their mouths in surprise. "That wasn't nice." Molly said, a little upset from the punch as she backed up away from Marion. Charlotte went into the refrigerator quietly and got 2 eggs, running up to her group of friends and throwing the eggs onto Marion's head. Marion looked over in the direction of who threw the eggs and looked at Charlotte. "You should probably stay away from Molly, Marion." Charlotte said, having her happy smile that would trigger Marion. "Why are there 2 Charlotte's?!" yelled Marion, putting her hand on her head on the spots the eggs splattered onto her head. "Marion. Leave, Vendetta is not here, she'll come back later, she is busy and we will make a fiend if you don't stop, cause she taught us how to make one." Marvin quickly explained to Marion. "Fine, I'll come back later, just get rid of those two Charlotte's if it's Vendetta's job to always do." Marion said, angrily leaving the house. "I'll at least close the door softly." Marion said before closing the door like a feather falling on the ground, staring at the weird group of friends. "Deez Nuts!" exclaimed Snap as she was closing the door slowly before it was fully closed. Marvin looked at Charlotte with a smile, seeing her laugh and go onto the floor from Snap saying his favorite joke again. "I'll never get that joke but it is funny." Marvin said to the group that wasn't laughing along with Charlotte but smiling. "Marvin, if you don't mind, can we get some clams, beef jerky, and grape punch in the fridge while we watch her laugh?" Molly asked as she chuckled from Charlotte's laughter. "Definitely." Marvin laughed a little, going to the kitchen and coming back with a plate to share with Molly and Snap.
