CHAPTER 1

ONE YEAR LATER

Riddhima's POV

I left vansh after the accident and started a new life, but is it always easy then the answer is no it isn't. At first, I faced memory loss and then I started meeting new people, and that's when I meet Vivek. He isn't a rich man like vansh or a complete romantic but is a simple middle-class man who is enough for me the man whom I feel is perfect for me. At the time of the engagement, I very well remembered my past. Just a week before the engagement due to an accident I got my memory back. In the beginning, I felt like just running to vansh and throwing myself in his embrace but after some time when I questioned myself, that's when I realized that, NO I don't want that life again. I don't want that life where I have to every day prove my love and innocence to others every day, I don't want a life where a sister-in-law is willing to kill her bhabhi just for the sake of her insecurities and jealousy. I realized that maybe I won't ever be able to love anyone like I loved vansh let alone Veviek but what she got with Vivek was security and peace which I didn't want to let go of.

But if ever we get everything according to our wish then what's the deal then. It was a month after the engagement, just a few days before the wedding that Vivek got to know the truth that I got my memory back a week before the engagement. After knowing the truth he called off the wedding stating he doesn't want to be his pain relief rather he wants her love and equal support as a life partner which he knows she won't be able to provide him with. He told her he felt of being used and who better than her knows what it feels to be used. Hence with a guilt-ridden heart, she had to let go of her happiness yet again just because of vansh. Even in his absence, he was affecting her happiness and she was cursing the day she loved him.

Author's POV.

In this year a lot of things changed drastically. Riddhima's truth came out to Vivek and he left her breaking the engagement just a week before the wedding. Sejal on the other hand was also very upset with Riddhima for hiding the facts from her but had eventually forgiven her. All this while Riddhima had never even tried to talk or even ask about Vansh. Even whenever she would hear his name on the news channels she would change the channel or the most switch of the TV. Unaware of what Vansh and the other Raisinghanias are going through.

Angre's POV

A lot of things changed this year especially in the lives of Raisinghanias. All the things turned upside down in this one year. It feels as if the lord has punished each one of the family members for torturing the innocent soul like riddhima. All the destruction started from Riddhima's engagement night.

Vansh Bhai had met with a very deadly accident on the night of the engagement party. After his accident, he lost his mental balance completely. As for the business it was taken over by Rudra and he caused a lot of wrong deals which led to the destruction of the business. Due to the unpaid dues promised to the people Rudra thought to run away with his wife and son but due to the Plane Crash, no one was saved. Unable to take the loss of her son Rudra Indrani Raisinghania got a cardiac arrest and she succumbed to death. After all this, even Ishaani became very reckless and faced another miscarriage due to which Angre broke ties with Ishaani and divorced her. She is an arrogant jerk who had many affairs and at last, ended up herself as a slave to a rich man. Now no one was left to take care of the business and slowly it came to a dreadful end. Sia though was angry at Vansh in the beginning but took great care of him in those two years and after the accident, she and Angre were the only ones who used to care for him.

 Sejal's POV

I never thought that my best friend could even lie to me and that too about the most important phase of her life. I understand her reason for not going back to Vansh and it's obvious no girl would want to go back to a man who just for the sake of his revenge introduced a con woman as his wife even though the media was fake but the intention was to bloody torture. But just for my friend, I can't be biased to Vivek. he s a good man and that's true. I can't spoil his life just for the sake that my friend isn't able to forget her love nor give him the love he deserves. That's the reason I dint support Riddhima when Vivek insisted to break the alliance because it was fair for him. I'm yet angry with riddhima for hiding facts from me but I also can't change the fact that she's my only family and I love her the most. I just wish her happiness.

What would Riddhima's reaction be when she would get to know the state of Riasinghanias especially her love her Vansh?????? 

What would Riddhima do when she will get to know that the man she loved has turned into a child-man????
