Maki asked me, sounding more cold and stressed than ever
"It's a long story. Togami-kun and Kirigiri-chan were there"
I'm still thinking about that girl i met back there, another good question was how she knew about Togami and Kyoko.
She surely wasn't a cop, but then why did they let her stay?
"I can see the bruise on your neck. Something must had happened, don't treat me like i'm stupid"
Did she had enough force to leave a mark? I could feel that she was basically choking me, but her body didn't seemed that strong
"There was a girl. A bit more taller than me, short black hair. She put up a fight, she was the one that told me about Togami-kun and Kyoko-chan"
Maki didn't say anything in return, the tension wad thick enough.
After sometime we arrived to my mansion, were she dropped me and escorted me to my door.
We said eachother goodbyes then i shuted and locked my door
"Mother, you're returned. How did work go?"
Ah, my adorable son... the reason why i'm still alive
"It was okay. Before i go to rest, i may ask you something"
He looked at my neck sweating, he probably seen right trhu my lies, but still he nodded
"Is Miu Iruma one of your friends? Perhaps a tall girl, with strawberry blonde hair with blue eyes?"
His face betrayed him, showing emotions: he was scared, confused and reluctant
"Yes, mother"

"Then how about inviting her to dinner this week end? It will surely be fun"
He looked surprised, today his poker face isn't working really well
"Don't show weakness, you don't want people to use you, right...Kokichi?"
