Letting out a sigh as I set down the 4th romance novel I've finished this month. I love the idea of being romantic with the one you love and these books fill my head with date ideas, and ways to woo something, cute little skits with the faceless figure in my head.
I love seeing couples in public being all lovey dovey with each other. The thought that a relationship like that will someday be mine is just too good to ignore.
A handsome man or beautiful woman holding my hand, letting me back hug them, long slow passionate kisses, back hugging while doing the dishes, cuddling while reading together, going on walk with Moni.
I can't help the smile that pulls its way onto my lips at the thought of all that happening to me someday.
Ya sure all my friends are married or are in serious relationships. And here I am, sitting alone in a library running out of cheese filled romantic books to read. Almost 30 years old and never even had a first kiss.
Maybe I'm too picky, maybe I just need to find someone I'm comfortable with, not someone who will go paddle boating with me, or who will let me write poems for them.
But I know there is my perfect someone, somewhere on this planet. It's just a matter of finding them.
I set the book back on the shelf and look for a new one. Picking up a mat black hard cover book with the words Magic Shop written in a shimmy purple.
"That's a good one." Looking over to the owner of the voice, he's a few inches smaller than I am with brown hair and a heart shaped smile. Dressed in a pair of black shorts and a sweater that says 'lucky me I see ghosts' "Ya?" I smile back at him.
"I don't read romantic all that much but it's really good, it's about a group of seven guys that run a shop called the Magic shop. They give out peaces of themselves to help the customers find their true love." He explains walking up to me. "By far my favorite book."
"If you don't read romance normally what drew you to the book?" I ask him keeping my voice low.
"Being honest, an ex of mine wanted me to read it. When we broke up I finally did. It helped me get over him." He answers truthfully.
Humming thinking about checking the book out. "Thank you. I think I'll check this one out than."
The strainger smiles and walks away. I smile as he dissapears behind a book shelf. He is really quite handsome.
The logical part of my brain knows that I will most likely never see that man again, but the other side of my brain. The more chaotic wild side is already planning our wedding day.
Looking down at the plain black book a soft smile on my face I sit back down in the squishy library Chair and start reading.

"Hobi, you wanna come with us to the roller skating rink?" Jungkook asks pointing at him boyfriend with his thumb.
"Thats not a request Hoseok, you're coming with us. You can't live your whole life in mystery novels." Yoongi crosses his arms making me let out a sigh.
"I'll go but you two have to promise to not be all gross and cupply." I close my book and stand up.
Jungkook pouts at me and I just roll my eyes. "It's bad enough that I walk in on you guys making out and you just keep going like I'm not even there. I don't want to deal with that in public too. It's disgusting."
"You'll chang your mind someday. Just need to meet the right one." Jungkook grumbles out. "And by that he means date them for more than two weeks." Yoongi adds making me roll my eyes.
