Vanessa's POV

The little girl had attached herself back to Vanny's leg and Vanny didn't seem all to comfortable. "Alright liz, let go please. At least loosen your grip?" Vanny pleaded. So her name is liz? "How about you hold my hand instead?" Vanny asked after liz let her grip loosen. She instantly grabbed her hand and looked up to her. Maybe she's more comfortable because of the costume. "Come on Ness, we gotta get Elizabeth home" Vanny said turning around. Ah. Her name is Elizabeth. I followed her out of the building and locked the door behind us. Vanny began walking home with Elizabeth near by. I trotted up to them and slowed my pace so I would stay with them. Liz must've gotten tired because she tugged on Vanny's suit and muttered something to her, then Vanny picked her up and and gave her a piggyback ride. It was a really cute scene: a bunny giving a piggyback to a little girl who looked like she was having the time of her life. We made it home pretty soon and Elizabeth was excited to explore. As soon as she was put down, she ran around and explored the different rooms. She ran into our room at some point and vanny found the time to get her costume off. She smiled at me before Liz charged out of the room holding that green uncomfy bunny plush. Despite Vanny's panic last night over that plush, she seemed completely calm about a child handling him. Maybe she knew that Elizabeth wouldn't hurt him. But she didn't have proof of that. Whatever her reason was, it was odd. Elizabeth stopped in her tracks when she noticed the absence of a certain big white patchwork bunny and the presence of a brown haired woman with rainbow streaks in her hair. Vanny noticed how she stopped and put the mask back on as it was laid on the sofa and Liz soon put two and two together. Surprisingly quick for a child of her age. Liz soon began being as playful as before. "When is she going home?" I asked. "Not sure. Her dad never told me!" She giggled. Elizabeth was tickling Vanny on the stomach. Elizabeth shifted a bit and hit the centre of the blood stains and she yelped. Vanny sat up and Elizabeth looked at the spot that she had hit. "Are you okay?" Vanny asked to the little one who was whimpering in pain. She looked at Vanny with teary eyes. "Do you want me to make it better?" Vanny asked sympathetically. Elizabeth nodded sadly. Vanny pulled Elizabeth close to her and hugged her close, careful to avoid the points that brought her pain. She gently stroked Liz's hair as she calmed down. Eventually Liz fell asleep on Vanny, gently snoring. Vanny gently picked her up and brought her to our room. "We'll sleep on the sofa" Vanny spoke quietly after after closing the door.
