1. new neighbors

Derek's pov
Derek 6 Meredith 4

It was a Friday night and I was sat by the window waiting for the new neighbors to arrive.

A black car pulled up across the street and a man and a woman stepped out. It looked like they were shouting at each other.
I really hoped they had a kid for me to play with. The woman stormed into their new house and slammed the door.

The man stepped around to the back of the car and started to pull a few bags out, he put them down on the floor next to the side of the car. He slammed the boot shut, it didn't look like they had any kids, that was until he opened the side door on the car and an extremely, small girl stepped out she was rubbing her eyes and had a doll in her hand. The man picked up the bags and stormed into the house, the little girl chasing behind him.

"Mum! The neighbors are here!"
"It's a bit late to meet them now Derek we'll go meet them in the morning!" I went to bed and heard a bit of shouting from across the street, as I fell asleep.

Merediths pov
"Daddy! Wait for me" I shouted as my dad stormed into our new home. I barely even got to look around the house before my dad ran up to me picked me up and took me upstairs, he put me down in a small bleek room with a few blankets on the floor.
"Daddy, is this my new room?"
"Go to sleep Meredith"
He left the room and locked the door behind him, I heard shouting all night long as I tryed to go to sleep in the cold room. The Walls were plain a light grey, there was no carpets on the floor in this room just a blanket with no cover and a couple of over thin blankets, the rest of the stuff hadn't arrived yet because daddy got the moving van dates wrong.
