This story is about a tournament robot, Maestro, who want's to be the champion of this year's Robot Master's Tournament. Will he become the Champion... or perhaps something more?
Last time, Maestro rescued Wily from the clutches of the stardroids. But when fighting against the leader, Sunstar, he was now in the controls of an old enemy. Maestro barely made it out alive and was able to escape from the Wily star. Now Dr. Cossack and the rest if the Geniuses all gathered into a meeting into finding a way to defeat that thing.

Dr. Light: So you're saying an enemy has come to Earth... With your weaponized space fortress?
Dr. Wily: Yes... Though my intent was to dominate Earth. Not destroy it!
Dr. Cossack: What he's saying is the truth. It'll be here in days...
Dr. Wily: Not only that... If what Maestro has seen is true.. It's now being controlled but the evil energy robot. There's no reasoning with a foe like that. The only thing it desires is to destroy!
Dr. Light: Then... What do we do?
Dr. Cossack: The Wily Star must be destroyed. Along with all the evil energy inside. THere's nothing on Earth strong enough to do that... Unless we build it.
Dr. Light: Build a weapon? we don't have the time or resources for that...
Dr. Wily: Nonsense, Light! Look around you... our robot masters are all we need to get it done. Our design for the ultimate robot... It can be perfected! I know it can!
Dr. Light: Our design... You mean Gamma?
Dr. Wily: Yes! I still have the blueprints... if we all work together we can do it!
Dr. Cossack: The thought of working with you again pains me... But if there's no other way...
Dr. Light: Albert... I never thought I see the day...
Dr. Wily: Hmm?
Dr. Light: Very well... Let's get to work.
~Meanwhile~
Maestro is sitting in a room, well furbished and repaired, heard about the news about the plan the Doctor's and all the robot masters are preparing to face. Megaman came through the door to meet up with him once more.
Megaman: Hey, Maestro! How are you holding up? I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done. For keeping everyone safe while I was vulnerable to roboenza. It's strange... While I was infected. All kinds of negative feelings came out. I was... Jealous... That you were the one saving the world. And even now I'm cured. I am still a little bit envious of you. It's an odd feeling... But I wonder if this is how humans feel sometimes? Maybe this was intended by design. For us to sometimes feel this way... But no matter what I feel, everlasting peace is what we both want, right? As long we keep everybody safe. It doesn't matter who the hero is...
