"who are you texting?"
i asked millie since i keep seeing her smile at her phone then look up at me.

"oh uh louis partridge. you know him right?"

"of course. he's your very attractive costar."
i laughed a little as i said this but she seemed very excited.

"you think he's attractive??"

"um yeah. but doesn't everyone?"

"i guess. but YOU think he's attractive! and me and him were just talking about you!" millie's smile on her face kept getting bigger and bigger.

"you were talking about me? what? why? what were you saying?" i tried to look over at her phone even though she was sitting across from me.

"he called you pretty and asked if i think he has a shot with you!"
she slightly showed me her phone with these messages then shut it off and set it next to her.

"he did?? oh my god what'd you say?"

"i haven't replied yet. does he have a shot?"
she asked me as she picked her phone back up again and went to his instagram.

"you don't even follow him?" she said to me as she looked through his mutual followers.

"he doesn't follow me! should i follow him? does that like send a hint?" i asked her as i opened up my own phone and went to his instagram as well.

"yes! you should. he's gonna freak out."

"ok i just followed him."
i start looking through his posts just to see

"he is so attractive mills, oh my god."

right after i said this we heard millie's phone ding, signaling she got a message.

"oh my god! it's louis. he's talking about you following him. he said millie she just followed me. do i follow her back? will she think it's too fast?"

i laughed a little at the way he's overthinking it.

"ok i told him to follow you back. he said he's gonna dm you. am i a matchmaker right now?"

"um sure mills. oh wait he dmed me. all he said was hi."

"are you serious? i did all this work and he says hi? louis louis louis. what are we going to do with you!"

i text louis back and i start getting the conversation going.

it's not too awkward and he's responding quickly. i decide to be kind of bold since he initiated the conversation anyways.

i asked him for his number since apparently "i hate dming."

he gave me his number so i texted him.
