Marinette POV)
Once I and Damian got cleaned up we went out to greet my future father-in-law aka Bruce. We walked down the palace hand in hand with my head on Damian's shoulder. When we got to the doors I let go of Dami's hand which to which he visibly frowned/pouted, I opened the door to find my dad and Bruce hugging each other with Selina and mom also hugging. When we came into the throne room they all saw us and pulled apart from the friends who they have not seen in a very long time.
"Why hello Marinette and Damian, you must be wondering why I came earlier than expected," Bruce asked as I and Damia nodded. " Yes, Father, would you like to tell us?" Damian said. " of course, you see, we decided to move the coronation date to a week earlier so the coronation will be next week and instead of just having a return coronation we have a crowning too, that means you and Marinette will be legally married and crowned king and queen." Bruce explained as I choked at the last part. " WHAT" I and Dami yelled. Just then the door opened and the others were standing at the door with their eyes wide open, looks like they heard everything. " wait Mari and Damian are getting married!" Nino asked with wide eyes as the others just stood there like a bunch of idiots. I internally giggle at their reaction but was shocked myself, Me and Damian are gonna get married... wait...HOLY SHIT ME AND DAMIAN ARE GONNA GET MARRIED!!!
Damian POV)
'what me and angel are gonna get married, but so soon, I don't understand.' I asked myself "Father why are we having this change of...plans?" I asked father. " we just decided to speed things up a little due to some issue." he responded we all just nodded and were about to leave when king Felix said, " I suggest all of you including Bridgette, Selena, Bruce, and I to start looking for dresses and decorations and rings." we all nodded again and left the room to our separate directions.
