It was a warm, bright, and lively day in the kingdom of wind, Anemo kingdom, was joyful and bursting with happiness and joy to give around. Everyone was happy and excited for the special day, except prince Alexander. It was his 20th birthday yet he didn't feel 20. He felt the same as he did the day before, and before that, and before that. He felt like a young prince who was constantly pushed aside by his parents. He walked out of the castle only to be greeted by a bunch of happy and loud villagers. Some were congratulating him and others were saying how his crimson black hair, sparkly brown eyes, and muscular form made him look like his father. Alexander hated thinking that he was anything like the king. He hated his cold glare and ice-cold tone he would speak in when Alexander made a mistake. He hated it. No one understood why, except for a 19 year old girl who lived in the attic of a book store. She was the only person who truly understood him. She was his only friend who ignored the fact he was a prince, which is why he wanted to see her so badly that morning.

After pushing past the crowds of people, Alexander finally made it to the book store. When he entered, there sat a pale girl with long, curly, blonde hair, and diamond eyes, reading a book. She was sitting at a small table near a open window. When the sunlight hit the girl's hair it made it glow and it looked almost as if the girl had locks of gold. When Alexander stepped inside and closed the door behind him the girl looked up and greeted him. "Hey birthday boy! Feel any older yet?". The girl closed her book still keeping her sparkling eyes on him. Alexander walked over to the table and sat across from her, putting his head down and letting out a loud sigh. The girl patted his head and handed him the book she was previously reading. Alexander looked at the book and his face beamed with joy when he realized it was his favorite in the whole entire kingdom. "Tales of Knights". That was what the book was called. It was about knights from Anemo kingdom who set out on a journey to learn how to handle other elements. Unfortunately, most of the book was destroyed a long time ago and only the beginning of their journey is left in the book. "Thank you, Moira!", Alexander practically shouted as he opened the book. Moira. The girl sitting across from him with gold hair and diamond eyes. She was the kindest person he had ever met. When something was bothering him she would immediately know and somehow she would know exactly how to make him feel better.  Moira smiled at him before noticing the old man walking down the stairs with a large stack of books in his hands. Moira got up to help the owner of the book store, mr.Curbias. She grabbed at least seven books from him and placed them down on the table Alexander was still sitting at.

Mr.Curbias was the owner of the book store and was like a father to Moira. He took her in when she was only five years old and he always treated her as if she was his own. "Alexander, how about we go for a walk around the garden? I found something you will most definitely be excited about!", Moira said as she walked up to Alexander who was flipping through the  pages of the book in front of him. Finally, Alexander looked up at Moira noticing how excited she looked. "Alright, let's go then.", Alexander thought that since Moira was so excited about whatever it was that was waiting for them in the garden, he would probably like it too, and with that they left the book store and headed to the garden. While walking to the garden near the castle Alexander asked, "What is at the garden you so desperately want me to see?". "You'll see", is all Moira responded with. They walked in silence for awhile, until something broke the silence. A burst of fire was charging at them. Alexander closed his eyes, waiting for the impact, when he heard screaming from all around him. When he felt no pain, he slowly opened his eyes. There right in front of him, was Moira glowing a bright green with pillars of rock blocking the fire from engulfing them.

Everyone gasped once they realized what had just happened. Moira used the power of earth, which was forbidden in the wind kingdom. Guards came rushing towards them, grabbing Moira who had slight tears in her eyes. While they were taking Moira away, probably to the dungeons, Alexander begged the guards not to take her away. Two guards came over and pulled him back, restraining him. Moira smiled slightly at Alexander and shook her head. Many hours later Alexander decided to confront his father.
