As I walked down the peir the rain started to fall and I ran. The raindrops in my hair fell to the ground more and more as I started to run.  Walking home always felt good even if it was being a typical, rainy day. "One more block..." I murmered. As I walked in the door a smooth voice merged. "How was your day, Juliett?" My dad always asked that. The answer was always good, even if I was in tears. I always hid my face in my hood just in case. "Ginger" the word slipped my mouth, the perfect name. "So?" My dad said. "Thanks! It means alot!" I said as I tied her collar around her neck, we would have to get the tag later. "Brandon picked it out himself!" Mom gushed, she was always happy when we helped each other out. Brandon, my older brother was in collage and I assumed he was visiting for a "congrats" party. He always bragged about being in collage and I was only a sophomore. "Congrats." Brandon visited every once in a while. He always drove here but this time there was someone else in the car...
