The dance season started again.
"My first day," I sighed.
I walked into the University to find the normal. Strech bars, point shoes, stranded costumes. I was home. I tied my pointe shoes, and before I knew I was dancing around the room. Time went by fast, I wandered off into my day-dreams and when I woke up it was the end of class. People got along with me fine, and thats when I was sure, I was home. I walked outside onto the patio, to find myself falling. The floor broke before me, dust and wood flew past me. I landed in warm grass. I was in an abandond barn, but there was no door. It got covered up by the dance studio. Sreams filled the air above me.
“JEWLS!!”
“WE’RE GONNA GET YOU OUT!”
The other dancers crowded the hole, it was nice to know they cared for me.
“Thanks!” I yelled. “I’m alright!” I heard crying, I felt sorry.
“There here!” Miss Cindy my teacher called down. I assumed she ment the fire department or soemthing. I screamed when an axe tore through the wood.
“Its alright!” The fireman said. “Its alright, are you hurt?” I looked down at my leg. An open cut down my entire left leg. I screamed and covered my mouth. My eyes closed, as I covered my other hand over them. His strong arms lifted me off the ground. I couldn’t tell who he was with his helmet, but his voice was farmiliar. He dropped me off in the ambulance and winked.
I got light headed quick, I was losing blood by the second. I blacked out. I woke up in a white room, a full leg cast, up my left leg. A doctor stood above me reaching for my leg. I squealed. "Its alright, you need this for health. I am very sorry, but you'll also need sugery" He said in a smooth voice and enjected the liquid into me. My family, bursted in. "Awh, hon!!" Sam ran over to me. We hugged and my brother shooed her out. My parents were next, they told me it was gonna be alright. My brother texted me, then walked in. He was on the verge of crying. He got very serious when it came to surgery. Alix was last. She had a huge teddy-bear in her hands, and a card.
"Listen, about the firema-"
"Alright, time for surgery," The doctor pushed Alix out. I was scared, it could of been something important, like she was dying or something. They put a mask on, and told me to relax. I took deep breaths. I woke up again. My family on the edge of their seats, all talking casually.
"Oh! We got a waker! Hi sweety!"
The fireman walked in and everyone walked out, suspiciously.
He took off his helmet and smiled that same sweet-smile.
His sweet smile.
