Miraculous Marinette

Marinette's POV

'Well, I am back now!' I said to Chat hugging him tightly. I caught a faint smell of Camembert. 'At least your back' he said breaking apart from the hug. 'Did you find what you where looking for?'

'Yes!' I replied.

'And I'm guessing you met Bunnyx!'  He said smiling.

'Yes I did in fac.... WAIT?! .... How do you know?!' I questioned.

'She paid a quick visit to me and Amber!' He replied smirking.

'Y-you know Amber?!' I asked cautiously thinking about what Amber could have told him.

'Well, I only got to know her from Wednesday, she came on Tuesday.' he replied

'She is Mysterious!' I said to no one in particular.

'Agreed' Chat said. 'We also have a problem, one I haven't been able to fix yet.'

'Oh what is it?' I had a bit of an idea.

'Marinette's missing.' Chat stated.

Chat's POV

'Marinette's missing' I stated. I looked at Ladybug's face. It had turned pale. 'L-ladybug, are you ok?' I asked worryingly. 'O-oh Y-yeah...' She started. 'Let's get home and figure out what to do tomorrow!' Ladybug suggested. 'No!' I grabbed her arm just as she was about to leave. 'It's her birthday tomorrow.' Ladybug stared straight into my eyes. 'Then why not you go looking for her, if you are so bothered. You said that she is missing so go and find her. Look, I just came back from Versailles, I haven't slept properly in days, and I am very unorganized at the moment, and adding my guardian duties makes it even more hard to concentrate on what really matters about my normal life!' She shouted the last bit. I was shocked and just stared at her for a minute. 'I'm sorry Chat...' she started. 'Don't.. Don't worry. Go home. I will look for Marinette myself.' I said leaving her standing there staring at me. I turned back and saw her swing off into the distance. 

Wow. I thought. She has changed a lot since the last time. Maybe it's just the lack of sleep she had. I'm sure she will come round soon and help me find Marinette. Poor Marinette. No one knows where she is. She is such a kind girl and doesn't deserve this. It would be a miracle if I go to her balcony and see her sitting at her desk. I decided just to go to her balcony anyway. It was always a welcoming place. 

Marinette's POV

Chat left me and went to start his search for Marinette. Me. He is wasting his time. He won't find me. I flung my yoyo towards my house. 'I'm sorry, Chat Noir,' I whispered. I jumped onto my balcony and then de transformed. I slowly walked in making no noise as to not wake my parents up. 'Oh, Tikki... ' I trailed off. 'Chat Noir is looking for me even though I am right here' Tikki looked up at me and said 'Maybe you should reveal your identities..'  

'I.. You've got to be kidding me Tikki!?' I replied shocked. I wasn't really shocked. I was all for the idea of revealing our identities but..... not after Marinette disappeared without an explanation. 'Marinetteee, Chat could help you find an excuse, if you just listen to my plan...' Tikki said as if she read my mind. 'Ok the--' I was cut of by the sound of my window opening. It was the nosy Chat Noir. And I couldn't hide. By the look of his face he had already seen me. I stared as the tired black cat entered my room, slowly closing the window. My eyes met his, making my heart skip a beat. I quickly looked down at my feet. I was frozen to the spot. I could feel his piercing green eyes scan me, as if he were trying to tell if I was real. How am I going to explain to him about me!?!?! I thought. 'Marinette!?' He whispered, as he started to walk forwards. 'Marinette.' He repeated calmly. 'Where have you been?!' I can't believe he has been thinking of me all this time. Trying to find me. I let my family down. I let my friends down. And most importantly; I let Chat Noir down.

Chat's POV

I walked closer to the Marinette. I couldn't believe it, how is she here, when did she come and most importantly Where has she been!? 'Where have you been?!' I heard myself questioning. I saw her glance at me and look straight back at her feet. 'Marinette....' I started. 'You can tell me anything.' I shouldn't have been surprised if she never replied. 'I c-can't' She barely even whispered, her voice sounded strange, as if she were forcing herself to not cry. 'I-i'm so s-sorry C-chat...' Tears started streaming down her face. 'Marinette, look at me.' I pleaded trying to stop myself from crying to. She shook her head and faced the wall. 'I-im s-sorry...' She said once again. 'You have nothing o be sorry for!' I cried angrily! 'It's no ones fault.' She sobbed.

 I looked up and saw a dark purple butterfly and feather float into Marinette's room. 'Marinette!!' I called. 'WATCH OUT!!!' I couldn't let Marinette let akumatized. She looked up and screamed.It was a very high pitched sound. I could tell she was terrified. I quickly cataclysmed the akuma and the amuk. 'Phew' I said smiling at Marinette who was now trembling sat in the corner of her room. I heard footsteps. OOF. Her parents. 'I better go, or you will have to explain why I'm here!' I left, winking at Marinette and feeling guilty leaving her to explain what had just happened. 

I'm so sorry, I haven't updated in ages. I kind of lost track of time - But that's not an excuse. I will make sure I try and upload at least once or twice a week from now on. School is getting into the way. I have so many Christmas assessments!!! My Drama one is tomorrow, I'm acting a Witch. Wish me luck!!
