THE DRUNKARD AND THE PRINCESS
Golden rays rose at dawn, showering Camelot in light. Sparkling specs of sunlight hit the dias of the Citadel. It was utterly peaceful.
Lady Eliana Pendragon took this time of day to embrace the warmth and relaxation to be herself before the court arose from its slumber and the expectations of a Princess were to be upheld. As her brother had gone hunting- completely unfair that he could escape and indulge in outside activities- she relished in the peace that came with his silence (Arthur Pendragon did like to drone on about his legacy to his sister). She loved him and while his bravery and fighting skills were unmatched, he was oblivious to outsiders that had also helped him save the Kingdom- ie. Merlin who's magical legacy was Camelot's saviour an yes Eliana Pendragon was one of the select view to have the privilege of witnessing his talents but we won't get into the discovery of such today.
As the day progressed and woollen trousers of fighting clothes were switched to satin, a raucous ensued and Camelot's peace was disturbed by furrowed brows and dripping crimson blood, an injured man and an involvement in a bar brawl lead to a matter of urgency imprinted into the Prince and his manservants visage and as they thundered past Eliana (the waft of mead following them), chaos would soon follow at lightening speed and Eliana's life would change for the better.
