The Sound of Silence - A Modern Retelling of Beauty and The Beast

Before I Begin

There are a few trigger warnings for this story before I begin, and I want to say them before I tell you the cast.

Trigger Warnings:
Abuse

Homophobia
Cursing, so if you aren't a fan of cursing then this story won't be for you
Attempted murder
GORE, not throughout the story but every now and then there will be gore.

I will always put a ~TRIGGER WARNING~ before I type out any of the triggers that I mentioned, except cursing and homophobia, because then I would be typing out a ~TRIGGER WARNING~ for the beginning of every chapter in the story. The castle is very much a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ characters in the story.

The Cast

Abigail - Abigail is the Witch. She cursed Reanna out of spite and to teach her that true beauty is within because looks can be deceiving.

Reanna - Reanna is the Beast. She is trans, male to female, and was cursed to stay 18 forever. At night, she will become a monster in the eyes of others who fear her.

Angela - Angela is Belle. She is pansexual, meaning she accepts and loves every person, whether they're trans, gay, bi, etc.

Killian - Angela's father. He abuses her for her pansexuality and because he is a heavy drinker. He also abuses his wife, Susie.

Susie - Angela's mother. She accepts her daughter for who she is and encourages her to follow her dreams.

Jessica - Angela's best friend. She lies for her whenever Angela asks her to, and tries to keep Harvey off of her tail.

Harvey - Harvey is essentially Gaston but more... Psycho. He stalks Angela whenever he gets the chance and dreams of the day he'll finally have her all to himself.

Joey - Joey is LeFou. He listens without question and tries to cheer Harvey up after Angela makes it clear that she isn't going to ever date him.

James - James is another friend of Angela's. He's bi, is dating Nathan even if he doesn't remember it because of the curse, and would also do anything to protect Angela.

Nathan - Nathan is Lumiere. He was a close friend of Reanna and came to her party with the other guests. He remembers and misses James dearly and wishes that the curse would break so he could go home to him.

Connor - Connor is Cogsworth. He was always on time for everything and kept a pocket watch on him to keep track of time.

Anna - Anna is Plumette. She was very nice, but she was a bit of a clean freak. She dusted and washed everything until it shined before the party began.

McKayla - McKayla is Madame De Garderobe. She always had the best fashion sense, kind of like Trenderman but less scary and not a Slender Brother. Come on, I had to make that reference!

Delilah - Delilah is the Maestro. She played the piano beautifully and had been practicing for years.

The dog, Mrs. Potts and Chip will still be the same because I'm too lazy to change them, the only difference is that Chip and Mrs. Potts, who I'm gonna call Alyxandra (I spelled it wrong on purpose), Alyx for short, are brother and sister, but just know that I don't own them!

I don't know a lot of the characters so uh- That's the entire cast I guess.
