Angela sucked in a deep breath as she looked up at her house. The house was a faded blue with a now off-white trim. The front door barely fit in its frame and the paint was peeling. The door was once a brilliant shade of white and, like the trim, now was an off-white, almost like a sepia but lighter. The steps were also run down, like the rest of the house, and showed cracks and signs of breakage. She was late, and her father hated when she was late. She wanted nothing more than to get away from him, but she couldn't leave her mother alone with him. She wanted her life to change from how it would normally play out on days like this, but her asshole father wouldn't let it. She walked up the rotted, breaking, wooden steps and entered the house.

The living room was a mess. There were beer bottles all across the floor, the TV was barely on the walls, and of course, on the couch was her father, who was passed out. Her mother, Susie, was in the kitchen, a fresh bruise on her face from being punched, most likely by Killian. Angela bit her lip and attempted to sneak upstairs but she hit a creaky floorboard, and her father heard it. He sat up and looked directly at her.

"Angela! You son of a BITCH!" He immediately yanked her by the hair away from the steps, causing her to yelp. "How dare you!? You're late! And you tried to sneak in and make it seem like you weren't!?"

"D- Dad-"

"I don't want to hear your excuses!" Killian let out a threatening snarl. "I should've taught you a lesson from the start, ya damn bitch." Susie flinched, knowing that her daughter was in trouble. She went over to Killian and grabbed his shoulder, only to be pushed backwards into the table. "And I don't wanna catch you trying to stop me, woman!" Killian stomped on Susie's chest, drawing a scream from her lips.

"Mom!"

"As for you, Angela, I'll take the gay right out of you!"

"NO!" Angela struggled against Killian as he dragged her down to the basement. "Dad, stop! I'm sorry!"

"You're sorry!? If you were truly sorry I wouldn't have to teach you this lesson! Or take the gay out of you!" Killian threw Angela to the ground in front of him once they reached the basement, and Angela yelped before he pinned her. "This will teach you to openly be a fa-" Angela cut him off by kicking him where it hurt the most. "ACK! Oh you BITCH!" He ripped a knife out of his pocket and stabbed her hand clean through, drawing a scream. "This will teach you!" Killian snarled before getting completely on top of her, pulling on her clothes to get them off.

"! DAD! NO! PLEASE!" Angela squirmed and cried, but she couldn't stop her father from removing her shirt, then her pants. "I- I don't want this!"

"If it's the only way to teach you a lesson then so be it." Killian took the knife out of her hand and used it to start carving things into her body. There were all types of homophobic slurs in the form of old scars, and now he was adding more. That wasn't the only trauma he was adding on this time, though. He was going to, as he said, "take the gay" out of his own daughter in the form of something no one should have to go through, not even from their own family. He put the knife away and forced himself onto her, keeping her mouth covered so that she wouldn't be heard screaming for him to stop.

After a while, Killian finished and got off of her. Angela immediately scooted backwards away from him despite the amount of pain she was in and the blood coming out of the new wounds he had inflicted on her. She flinched.

"D- D- Da- ad.." Angela cried. She was in too much pain. She just wanted to run. She knew she could stay with Jessica but she wasn't sure if she should, or if it would be wise to leave her mom all alone with Killian. She blacked out, and he just smiled and walked away.
