Naruto's pov

Two weeks have passed and this asshole is still calling me(shikamaru), sasuke almost caught me speaking to him,I've explained so many times to him but he is not listening and I don't know what to do anymore

And Sasuke......he...he has been awfully distant and suspicious,every now and then I feel his gaze, the gaze that says"I think you're hiding something from me and I'm gonna find it out"if there is such a gaze-

"Naruto Kun"I get distracted from my thoughts by mikoto, sasukes mom,oh yeah she got here yesterday,she came to remind us about the party which she and her husband will be throwing tomorrow about their anniversary

"Yes mikoto san?"I turn around to look at her"oh drop the San Naruto you have known me like forever"she says taking both of my hands in hers"mikoto san....."I say while giving a faint smile showing her that I won't be comfortable by dropping the San in her name

"*Sigh*naruto you will never change, anyway I need you to go and buy me a list of things which I'll need for the party,here is the paper, I've written all the things which I'll need"she hands me the paper and she let's go of my hands

"And some bodyguards will escort you"she motions two of her bodyguards to come closer to me"aaah b-but I don't need them,I'll be ok, I'll just go with sai"no Naruto you should take them with,I don't want sasuke to throw a tantrum later"she says showing a face which says that she's not taking no for an answer

"B-but""no buts just go with it already".... fine"I let out a sigh of defeat and I motion sai to follow me"well will be leaving""ok and be careful Naruto ok"mikoto says and I nod

We reach to our destination and within this short of time shikamaru has called me more than 10 times, even sai asked me who was calling me so many damn times,he even thought that I found a date or something , how can I even think about dating with the situation I'm in

Putting that aside we buy the stuff which mikoto ordered to be bought and they were really heavy and I let the bodyguards to go and leave the heavy stuff first at the mansion and they should come back and pick us when they do

Me and sai stand outside the mall just talking about stuff I really didn't care about then we see a black limo parking just beside us and a man wearing black sunglasses comes behind sai,I see the back sit window going down and my eyes widen seeing the figure of the person who was sitting in the limo

"Young master... shikamaru?""get closer"shikamaru says and I do and bend myself "get in the car Naruto"shikamaru says looking at the front"and why would I do that?"if you don't your friend will die on the spot"shikamaru says with his lazy bitch eyes

"Who the hell do you think you ar-""look behind you carefully and then start talking to me again"shikamaru says and I turn around to the man who was standing behind sai, pointing a gun at his back

"You can't be serious""get inside and will just have a talk""shikamaru!!"I lose my cool,I know that if I go with him, I'll be walking into a trap,it will be like a deer walking into the lions den but I can't let sai die here, with the way that I know shikamaru he might actually do it

His face may look like he doesn't care about a lot of stuff or that he's lazy,but his mind makes the darkest the most twisted of plans, everything is in the mind never let his looks fool you,he is the most dangerous guy I know....apart from sasuke of course

"Oh look you called me by my name"shikamaru says with a grin on his face and he distracts me from my thoughts

"What do you want from me"come on in"no Naruto Kun don't"sai says with worry in his tone"you better shut up if you know what is best for you"the man standing behind sai says

If I go with him,I feel like he won't hurt sai but if I don't...sai is usually gonna lose his life because of me and I don't want someone to die again just like back then......

"............kill him"shikamaru orders,I drop the bags which I was carrying and quickly look at shikamaru"Wait! W-wait I'll come with so...."I turn to the man"so don't shoot"I turn back to shikamaru and he nods showing the guy to stop with his actions

"No Naruto don't please""sai just shut up and go home ok, and don't tell sasuke about this if he asks about me just make up an excuse alright"I tell sai looking at him with a stern look and he nods nervously,I look at the black limo then I open the door then I get inside

"Nice choice""I didn't have a choice"I say while looking down on my lap""Hn,driver let's go"we drive of leaving sai looking at the car nervously

Sasuke's pov

I just wanted to buy a golden butterfly 🦋 necklace which I once saw here for naruto, before I could even park I saw Naruto standing near a black car which I know very well and talking to the person inside and driving off leaving the boy which is named sai I think behind,I feel my blood boil and with only two thoughts in mind

Why Naruto?

And

I'm going to kill shikamaru no matter what

And I start to follow the car................
