Nexus City, Somewhere In Nevada....
Today was supposed to be her lucky streak....The whale of a client finally came to her table after two weeks of constantly switching dealers for a long night of wasting money....But of course the agency had to show up and wreck the place and now she had no job, just great... The rain wasn't letting up either as some asshole stole her umbrella so she was attempting to use her suit jacket to keep her dry well.... Dry as she can be anyway...As she was already soaked and shivering as she walked through the murky sidewalks of this hellhole city.. "This is just fucking peachy…" Lucky muttered to herself as she kept walking through the rainstorm since most businesses were closed and even those that weren't were way too sketchy anyways…Her cross lifted with joy as she saw it. An unoccupied bus stop with protection from the rain too. She would take full advantage of that and would sit at the bus stop, the exhaustion she held in starting to get to her along with the fact that injury she got while trying to escape the lively turned bloodbath of the casino…. "Fuck…." She huffed, holding her right side with her hand… "Took more damage than I thought…." She sat down on the bench the bus stop offered, it wasn't great but it wasn't uncomfortable either so she'll take what she can get... She attempted to keep herself from blacking out with the meager hope that a bus would arrive so she could at least rest on it until morning… That's when she noticed a strange man with an umbrella and a mohawk entered her peripheral vision which was already quite fuzzy to which she slightly shook her head in order to reclaim something close to her focus back.. She coulda sworn she saw him before too but where...Oh! At the bar her brother's friend used to work although he was with three other guys especially this one guy with red goggles on but what his name was escaped her.. "What is your name?" The man asked her his voice didn't have any particular accent but it definitely was the voice of an older man, which brought her out of her daze as she scrambled in order to answer. "It's Lucky." She managed to say through strained breath, she was going to say her full name but she wasn't comfortable giving that to a guy she barely knew... "How old are you?" He asked her bluntly although lucky definitely heard a bit of curiosity in his tone.. "26 years old..." She managed to strain out again as her vision was getting blurrier and more unclear with even the people walking by looking like grey indistinct shapes... "What are you good at?" This was the third question but it felt like he asked her four other questions before this... "Gambling....Sleight of hand.... Shooting with revolvers..." She was going to say more but her exhaustion finally consumed her, slightly leaning against the glass wall of the bus stop...Her memories from there were hazy and almost incomprehensible...
