Myra's story

Chapter 7

"Her," he says, starting at me.

His arms are crossed and his muscles show, even in this dark lighting.

I try to stop shaking, but it doesn't work. I want to beg him not to hurt me, but I  WILL NOT show any of them weakness. But in a way, I am.

I will be weak to them, until I have my break, my chance, to run away to freedom.

"Take the other girl," Sam says getting up and facing him.

"Nina wants her," the blank haired boy says nodding at me.

"Jake, back the fuck up," Sam says, getting  closer to,  who I now know is Jake's, face.

"You know what Nina told you about them, that's why we fucking agreed! Don't change sides," Jake spits.

I look over at Jade, who's been really quiet, I can hear her breathing from over here. She sounds awful.

I don't feel bad though, she would have had me shot. I mean if the fucking bullet was in that chamber, I could of died.

I know it's selfish, but this is survival.

But another thing stays on my mind:

People are getting shot, stabbed, pistol whipped, and all I've gotten was a blank shot from a gun.

I'm not hurt, and I think it's because of Sam.

"Nina!" Jake yells, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Nina it's at the top off the stairs, "What!?"

"Sam won't hand her over," Jake looks at me and I instantly look away.

"What the fuck?!" Nina comes down the stairs, and my stomach starts to turns slightly.

I lay my head on top of my knees, and close my eyes.

"What the fuck Sam!?" I hear Nina say.

"She's good down here," Sam says.

"I don't give a rats ass about this bitch," bitch?!, "I just want to have some fun and get revenge.

She finds this Shit fun!?

"She's done nothing!"

"She got homecoming princess, I wanted that! Not just once, but three times!! And Prom Queen! I was her runner up!" I hear Ninas for stomp.

She wanted me here over jealousy. Wow.

"People voted for her, I can't believe you want to kill her over jealousy!" Sam says, when I look up Nina is pissed, Jake is looking at me, and Sam has his fists clenched by his side.

"Jake, put her in the van," Nina says.

Van!?

"Hell no-," Sam starts, stepping closer o Nina, but Nina points the gun at him.

"I see who's side your on," She says, and has a little smile.

Jake comes over to me and I feel panic rising in me. Each step he takes it rises, every breath I take im thankful I could take.

When he reaches me He kneels down and grabs me hard by my throat. I suck in air, scared he would strangle me while trying to get me to the car.He pulls me up and pushes me towards the stairs, he stops when we get to Jade.

"Her too?" he asks.

" No, she's too weak to travel," Nina points the trigger at Jade, and fires.
