Exams are coming.

They started tomorrow actually.

My pen tapped on my book and my foot bounced rapidly against the tiled floor as I sat at the back of the class once again, listening to the words that spewed out of the teacher's mouth.

Nothing seemed to make sense all of a sudden. I was distracted. I needed to focus. To study for the exams.

It was my first exam in my new school and I couldn't disappoint my father. I needed to prove that I was worth paying school fees for. That I wasn't a failure or planning to play my life away but no.

I couldn't even sit down to read one subject on it's own without getting distracted multiple times. I couldn't get the words on my book to stop dancing. It's not like I could even see them in the first place.

Nothing ever seemed to stay in the tiny little brain I contained and I had no idea why. Why i was so different from the others. Why they could focus and I couldn't.

At this rate, I'm pretty sure I'd just fail again. I wouldn't be able to prove him wrong, I don't think I ever will.
