"Are you coming home tonight for dinner?" My sister asks hopefully. "I want you to meet someone."

"If it's a boy and he step's a foot inside of our house I will snap him like a twig. Do you understand me?" I growl at her. She is too young to be dating, period.

"Fine, then let's go out to eat. I just want you to meet him. He's important to me." She pleads.

"You are sixteen you shouldn't need anybody but yourself right now." She sighs into the phone defeated and it breaks my heart. "What's his name?"

"Parker." She says not giving me the last name on purpose. "That's all you get. I've got to make you work for it at least." She says hanging up with a smile on her face. I grumble and start searching her school roster for a Parker.

"Boss, Anderson has arrived." My secretary voices through the phone, in the middle of my search.

"Let him up." I answer harshly, as a picture of a young boy pops up on my screen. Vance is his last name. Parker Vance son of Sebastian Vance, owner of Vance News and Publishing. I'm about to print off my research when a knock sounds at my door.

I've been dreading this meeting. This scumbag has asked for more funds than he needs to continue his small drug trafficking ring.

Earlier this week my inside man mentioned this piece of shit has a new thrill for drugging and raping women for weeks on end. I will have no part in it and his fate is up to how he explains himself in this meeting. If all goes well my inside man will be the new ring leader in a couple of minutes, and this small ring will grow into a thriving business.

I have done this with a few smaller drug rings around the world and each time I have been successful. No one looks into anything, when a dirt bag goes missing. "Come in."

He pushes through the door, wearily. He knows my stance on taking advantage of people, I make sure I tell everyone I am in business with my views and opinions, and if you don't like it then be on your happy little way.

He's terrified, just how he should be. I stand and walk around my desk simultaneously gesturing him to sit. I keep my face neutral as he sits down at the edge of his seat.

I stay silent taking in his fidgety movements, waiting for him to start the meeting. He fidgets getting even more uneasy as I glare at him. "Are you going to sit here and waste my time or are you going to get on with it!" I shout, slamming my palms on to the table.

"Sir, there's a new guy in town. He's big news on the street. All my clients are leaving for him. I was just at his place buying some of his stock when he offered me a job." He rushes out. As soon as he finishes, I start laughing hysterically.

"You came here, to tell me that you are leaving. You have got to be the most idiotic criminal I have ever come into contact with." I shake my head. "Is that all?" I ask with one last laugh. Pacing back and forth.

"No... that's... no I came here to ask if you wanted me to inform you if anything changes." He's watching my every move.

I laugh again. "No."

"No?" He asks nervously. Now knowing which way this meeting is going.

"No... I don't trust you. You have never given me a reasons to trust you. I cross my arms over my chest making sure my side arm is in his sight. He eyes it wearily and I can visibly see him gulp. "You see Anderson, you might know somebody who has risen through your ranks rather quickly. He has been a valuable asset to me. You on the other hand." I click my tongue. "He'll be happy to get my call and know he's in charge."

I make my way around the chair and grab hold of his neck. He struggles against me for a good minute until he stops and I sigh. "Joe! Call Teddy!"

I hear my secretary scramble around outside my office. I walk through the door and straighten my suit. "I'm going for a walk. I probably won't be back. Make sure Teddy gets in okay and then you can leave." I tell her as I grab my phone from the basket on her desk and Andersons too.

I'm going through his contacts as I'm exiting the building as I find the number to the new dealer and I'm about to dial it, when I run directly into a rather distracted looking women. She spills her coffee all down the front of both of us. "Scheisse!" She curses under her breath, in a different language, and instantly apologizes as we both look up and lock eyes. She is simply striking.

"I am so sorry ma'am. Are you alright?" I place my hand on her shoulder and notice her flinch away as if my touch physically pained her. I quickly release her arm.

"Oh god! What a day!" She looks up into the sky with her eyes that tell me so much about her. I take my handkerchief out and hand it to her she accepts it just as a raindrop hits our hands. "Seriously?!" She shouts and throws her arms dramatically making me smile.

I look up into the sky with her and we make a run for the closest awning, which happens to be a flower booth. "Let me take you out for a new coffee. I know a place not to far from here."

"No." Is all she says before she runs out into the rain and hails a cab. She is gone before I even process what in the hell just happened.

I watch the cab turn the corner before I run across the street to my matte black Ferrari I speed after her. I need to know who she is.

I see the cab pull over in front of a house. So I stop a block away just around the corner. She's about to unlock her door, when she whips her head around and looks for something. She shakes her head and continues inside. I drive by memerizing her house numbers to search later. My sister is expecting me at dinner.

I pull into our driveway and park in the garage. I open the door into the house and I smell my favorite dish Malfatti. "Qual è l'occasione speciale?" I ask entering the kitchen to see Bella at the oven pulling out the food, while Kai and Matteo sit at the island. (What's the special occasion?)

"That's our queue. Good luck Bell." Matteo grabs Kai's arm and tries to drag him out of the kitchen.

"But I want dinner and a show!" Kai complains.

"Arabella. I told you not in our home." I scold her, putting two and two together and figuring out what all the fuss is about.

She turns around angrily slipping into our mother tongue. "È solo una cena!" She shouts. (It's only dinner!)

I sigh. "No, non gli è permesso entrare in questa casa. Non permetto a Matteo o Kai di avere ragazze, quindi niente ragazzi per te. Comprendere?" (No, he's not allowed in this home. I don't let Matteo or Kai have girls over, so no boys for you. Understand?)

"He's already on his way over." As the words leave her mouth, we hear a knock on the door. I glare at her as I head to the front door to see Kai and Matteo answer it before me.

"Ciao! Potresti voler partire." I hear Matteo warn him, basically grinning from ear to ear. (Hi! You may want to leave)

"What?" He asks completely clueless. "Is Arabella home?"

"No. Something came up." I push past Matteo. "I'm Lukas, Bella's brother." I hold out my hand for him. He takes it and I yank him closer to me.

When Bella starts shouting form the kitchen. "Lukas! Per favore, è solo una cena, se ne andrà subito dopo nessun affare divertente!" Bella calls from the kitchen. (Lukas! Please it's only dinner he will leave right after no funny business.)

"If you so much as lay a hand on her without her consent I will kill you where you stand." I let go of his hand and he shakes it out. "Bene!" I shout and hear her squeal and run from the kitchen.

Parker stands there completely lost to the conversation still shocked at my warning. "Come in. Dinner is ready. You're going to love it." He walks past me not letting his eyes leave me.

"This is going to be fun." I hear Kai from around the corner and Matteo laughs. I glare at the both of them.

"Does this mean we can have girls over, 'just for dinner'?" Kai asks, putting air quotes around the last part.

"Abso-fucking-lutely not!" I snarl. "If you do I will rip you both to pieces. This is a one time thing only because his father could be a useful business partner." They both look at me rolling their eyes.

"Everything is business to you." Matteo stops me.

"And it's exactly why we stay in business." I follow them through to the kitchen. This is going to be interesting for sure.
