With Willow on her way to the kitchen Law made his way to the basement door. It was still locked although couldn't find the key that was supposed to be in his pocket. "Where'd I put that key?" Thinking back, he realized his set of keys was in the pocket of his coat hanging on the rack. Law went to retrieve them but before he unlocked the door he listened for Willow. She was still busy in the kitchen and based on the banging of pans he knew she'd be a while. The door was always tricky to unlock though Law made do before pulling it open.

It was pitch black and the poor lighting didn't help much but Law knew exactly where he was going. He could still hear the banging although ignored it since this was normal. Willow was convinced it was all the pipes so he didn't care to put it to a stop. When the banging became louder Law finally stopped in front of a door where he knew the person responsible was being held. This too was locked but he quickly unlocked it before stepping in. "Must you be so loud? I have guests"

Inside the room was a man tied to a chair although when Law switched on the lights the male looked away. There was a gag in his mouth but he still tried to speak while Law only stared at him. He could have taken off the gag however if Willow had managed to hear the screams, he didn't want to attempt to explain it. "Would you like something Cora-san?" Law held a lot of respect for this male although it wasn't enough for him to let him leave this basement anything soon. "I'll check on you later. Please keep the noise down"

Law didn't stick around but he left the lights on for the man to have a little light for at least the rest of the afternoon. The banging hadn't started up so Law was satisfied and returned upstairs to assist Willow. Although he did stop at the deep freeze to retrieve a package of meat, he wanted to leave it out to defrost. By the time he had returned to the kitchen, he saw Willow looking through his counter boards. He hadn't announced his presence but he took two steps before dropping the frozen piece of meat on the countertop.

'Bang'

"What the hell!? Don't do that Law you're going to get me a heart attack!" Law didn't react much to the girl's screams but he did want to know about the meal she was preparing. "Find anything you can cook?" He knew there wasn't much although based on the few ingredients sitting on the countertop Law figured it would be good. "I'm thinking ramen. You have some pork in the fridge that should be used up before it can go bad and I noticed some leftover rice in there too. So, ramen and rice balls if that's okay with you"

Law knew Willow couldn't manage to prepare the meal on her own and even pointed it out to her. "You still only have one working hand" Willow's reaction was cute. Although Law couldn't look at her rosy cheeks long since she turned away from him. "Don't remind me Law" The man normally didn't care for childish behavior but in this case, he ignored it before ruffling Willow's hair. "Leave all the hands-on stuff to me. I am quite good with them after all" That one comment had caused her blush to brighten although quickly walked by Law to start looking for something. "Alright, we'll start with cooking the meat. Where's your frying pans?"

"Over there in the closet" Willow could only see one closet so headed towards it while Law simply watched her and slightly licked his lips. The girl was oblivious to that fact but since she was about to face him Law turned away to focus on other things. "Thank you. Now, let's get to work"

Later That Day...

The pair had an enjoyable day together but the hospital had refused to leave Law been any longer so he needed to head in for another shift. Although he first needed to drop off Willow at her apartment. "Are you still serious about this job offer, Law? I can't exactly work with a broken wrist" Willow was correct since tending to patients required a lot of hands-on work that at the moment she couldn't do. "We'll discuss it more after your injury heals but, in the meantime, I could use help with my paperwork. How about you come in tomorrow morning?"
