Chapter 4- I Miss Her Too.

It's been three days since I last went to hospital or met anyone. There have been no more nightmares of the previous kind and the wound on my finger has started to heal and the pain subside.

Jared hasn't shown up except for calling me every now and then to check on me. "I need to take care of your duties here in the hospital" , he explained his absence.

Leah has been keeping me company all the time other than her working hours.

She briefly knows about my story and did not once try to know more than what she does.
"I'm here for you Anna no matter what. Take your time to clear your head and relax. I'm right here if you need to share anything or just need someone to cuddle with", she had said, ending up her wise speech with a wink.

I completely adore her for whatever she is doing for me. I owe her too many to count.

My room's door barged open with Leah's red hair dangling down her pretty head. "Stop starring at the goddamn ceiling and do something productive for yourself like talking a bath, you bag of garbage" she wriggled her nose in mock disgust.

"Wanna join me baby?" I smirked.

"Oh Gladly. Here, let me help you get out of your clothes" she started walking towards me with a pretentious, sweet smile.
Before I could open my mouth to speak, she sat on my belly with here legs on either side and hands holding the hem of my t-shirt.

I couldn't suppress my laughter and broke into fits while struggling with her hold. "Get... off me... you.. opportunist nymph" I spoke between my breaths.

"Me what?" She giggled while trying to lift my tshirt up.

"YEAH GO ON LEH, YOU'RE DOING GREAT!" Came an excited voice from the door.
We turned our heads to a hysterically laughing Jared, holding his stomach and trying to control his tears.

"You have no idea how much I wanted to see you two making out" he finally spoke, wiping his tears.

"Fuck off Jer" Leah spoke while placing herself on my left.

"Anna!" Jared exclaimed, completely ignoring Leah, walking towards me. As I prepared myself to get up and give a hug, he landed back first on my right "I missed your bed so much it hurt". He gave out a satisfied sigh while covering up his eyes with his left elbow.
"I'm fine. Thank you." I spoke sarcastically, pushing him off the edge.

It's been almost four days since I last saw him and my bed is the one he missed so much. He, for sure, won't get the previlidge of laying upon it.

"Oops! Did I hurt you Jer?" I supported myself up and peeped at his annoyed face.
He twisted his mouth and flipped the bird, followed by a hearty smile.

"How are you Anna?" He breathed, his eyes gleaming with concern.

"Good now that I've actually seen your face after about a millennium" I rolled my eyes.
He grinned then got up from the floor and placed himself next to me.

"It's crazy without you in the hospital" he spoke with a frown, while wrapping his arms around my shoulder and placing a light kiss in my hair.
I scooted closer and made myself comfortable on his chest, his slow heartbeats engulfing me in his warmth.

"You know you guys suck. I've been rubbing my ass for you like everyday for past three days Anns and not once did I get the love treatment of yours" Leah sat up and huffed while crossing her arms on her chest.
"Shut Up Leh" both of us chimed.

"Yeah Leh shut up and come here" Jared spoke while opening his other arm for her.

Three of us lay still in my bed for about half an hour when Jared spoke up.
