Lumine and Paimon were about to walk to windrise when Paimon stomach growls out loud. "ouh... Paimons hungry....."
"Lumine giggled and convinced paimon to proceed to Good hunters alone,as she wasn't hungry.
Paimon thogutht for awhile and agreed, and then disappeared. After reaching windrise, Lumine looked around and called for Venti. Thinking hes not here, she sighed in disappointments and was about to leave but just as she was about to, a beautiful tune played through her ears, the music plays gracefully while the wind starts blowing through her hair. She turned around, and see Venti sitting on a tree branch. "Hi there travller! It was good seeing you again!" His lyre faded away as he slowly landed on the ground. His braids glowed while he floats down, Lumine watches him and blushes a little. *He never been this graceful! Is he like this when he's sober?!* Lumine thoguht to herself, it was like a prince paying you a visit well prepared.
"Welcome back to monstadt! Fancy meeting you here." Venti looked at lumine with a smile. Lumine was abit speechless, after calming herself down, she replied "Thank you Venti! Uhh! Paimon went to Good hunters so its uhhh only me!"
"Huh? I see, well then looks like we both can be alone for abit longer beacuse i would like to play for you a tune i made specially for you! Sit here! And listen." As lumime sat on the ground, with all ears, Venti started to play liyue and inazuma tradition music. Lumine was surprised and enjoyed the tune. After the astonishing performance, she appluad to venti.
" Its 7pm. Lets finish it here and see your friend at Monstadt!." Venti remarked.
Lumime and venti then reached monstadt after a long chat. Paimon was infront of them holding her plate of sticky honey roast,looking shock and started to smirk.
"What with the lo-" as soon as Lumine was about finish her sentence, she realized that she had been holding Venti's wrist. She panicked and sqeak as she pulled her hand away. However venti was confused. "She was exhausted so holding your friends hand is something i would do to make sure im walking to the right place." Venti didnt had feeelings for Lumine at all, he was confused and gave funny looks. Lumine on the other hand felt abit hurt, she felt like these words striked her heart.*Why am i sad?!!! I dont even like this annyoing bard!!* lumine knocked her head while trying to make herself look cool.
"Well thanks for bringing her back safely!! Paimon can take it from here!! Now go away shoo shoo and drink your wine!!!" Paimon said jokingly.
After lumine and Paimon were alone,Lumine sucked up her courage to explain to Paimon "Venti is a very graceful bard, and a loved archon... Before i met venti i was still stressed about the time i 'reunited' with Aether. But.... Hearing Venti's lyre being played by him, the musics of the nations we explored ahead... It reminded me,that the people there... And the people here,is the reason why im not alone. I have to thank venti for this. But i sitll dont get why im so sad about him calling me a friend! " Lumine stopped talking and looked down to her dress. She was so embarrassed, she felt so weak after saying that.Paimom felt so touched, and relieved that ventis performance can actualy make her realize how much the world is there for her. She then hugged lumine with tears of joy,which made lumine looked back up and wrap her arms around paimon.
"Brother, you may say the true nature of the world, is not as good as you think. But to my eyes,they are the reaosn why i wasnt able to see that. They are the ones protecting me.Ill show you...ill show you who they really are....."
