Within a blink of eye, Han Iseul felt a pale hand swathing around her collar bones.

Her eyes darted to the green veins flowing like small tributaries, prominent under his translucent skin.

His elbow joint cupped the front of her neck, getting tighter and could asphyxiate her any minute.

Before she could ponder on retorting to the instant modification in motion. Her head froze when she felt a cold pointed metal jabbing a hole in the lower, lateral part of the cranium; above her left ear.

Her heart started knocking wildly inside her chest wall and she could feel the blood rush inside her throat; in rhythm with the heartbeat.

She could feel his frenetic, warm breaths at the back of her neck which got faster by every passing second.

His scent, smelled like blood mixed in sweat with a touch of cologne.

“Don’t come near or I will shoot her head off!” He barked, his voice high pitched, echoing in her ears and making goosebumps creep all over her body.

She could see the guard raising his hands from her peripheral vision, glancing from the frightened girl to the person behind.

The others, widened their eyeballs in fear and pity, staring at the stature; who could kill someone, right in front of their own eyes.

“You will only follow my orders, one wrong move and you’re dead.” He whispered against her left ear sending a shiver down her spine.

She gulped some saliva in, her throat burning from his tight contact. Her arms firmly hooked on his elbow, pulling away his joint with her digits in order to increase the space between her neck and his deadly white skin, meanwhile trying to draw in as much air as possible.

She then moved her head in attempt to free her neck also symbolizing a nod indicating that she agrees to all his instructions, aiming to hold on to her dear life.

He chuckled under his breath, loosened the grip over her neck as if he is giving her permission to breathe freely. He then moved backwards, keeping the gun stiff in its position.

She breathed in with more ease and then scanned the view hoping someone would come forward to save her but everyone was glued in their positions.

She helplessly followed him, taking small steps behind, trying to keep up with him.

He motioned her to move inside a black van, a bust of familiar metallic smell hit her nose as the door of the van opened before her.

He harshly dragged her inside and closed the door shut.
Her eyes broadened at the terrible sight. Before she could contemplate on what was happening, the engine started and the van took off shooting her anxiety to maximum.

A man with a knife in his right abdomen laid across the seat, which were drenched in sticky, crimson fluid—blood.

A voice interrupted her attention and a lump of air got caught in her throat.

“Ja—!?”
