*Riker's Point Of View*

"Riker, I'll be back in a few hours." Rydel grabbed her jacket and ran toward the door.

"Wait," I called out. "Where are you going?"

She looked at me and shook her head.

"Don't worry about it." Rydel said with a small, nervous laugh.

"Rydel.." I said, waiting for her to answer.

"What? I've got to go. The first football game is tonight." She said and I laughed.

"Since when are you into football?" I asked.

"I..." She stammered. "I uh.. I'm just going because I have nothing else to do." Rydel said and ran out the door.

Something's not right..

"Rydel!" I called out and ran after her, but before I knew it, she wasn't there.

"I'll just find her at the game." I muttered and grabbed my jacket and ran toward the school.

After I got there, I looked around, trying to see Rydel in the crowd, but I couldn't see her. Maybe she went inside to use the bathroom..

"Hey, Riker!" One of the guys from school said as he came up to me.

"Hey." I said.

"Your first week here and your sister al-" Before he could finish his sentence, someone interrupted him.

"Yo, Eric!" Someone yelled.

"What? I was just-" Eric said.

"I need to talk to you." The guy said.

*Eric's Point Of View*

"Do not say anything to Riker. Or anyone. You and I are the only ones that know about it.." Anthony whispered to me.

"Uh.. And the team, and the coach.." I said.

"Anyway, don't talk about it just yet.." Anthony said.

"Okay.." I said and shrugged.

"Sorry, Riker. Anthony was just telling me about.. Something his friend did." I said to Riker.

"Umm.. Okay..?" Riker said. "Anyway, I was just looking for my sister Rydel. Have you seen her?" He asked.

"Uhh.. No, not really. What does she look like?" I lied.

"I thought you had a few classes with her.. She has long blonde hair, she kinda looks like me, she's always wearing girly clothes, y'know.." He explained.

"Oh! You mean Rydel!" I said nervously. "Of course I've seen her. She's very pretty." I said.

"That's nice to know. But have you seen her tonight?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"Um, no. But I think maybe she-"

Anthony pulled me back.

"Whatever you do, make sure he doesn't find out yet. Mkay? Coach doesn't want anyone to know we have a female QB until after the game. He thinks they'll think he's insane if they find out before. Once we've won the game, then it can be revealed." Anthony whispered in my ear.

I nodded.

"Just.. Make sure nothing happens. I've got to go get ready for the game." He said and patted my back.

"What was he talking about?" Riker asked.

"He was saying he needs to go get ready for the game. This is actually exciting to me. There's been changes.. He's not the QB anymore, he's the wide receiver." I said and Riker chuckled.

"Who's the new quarterback, then?" He asked.

Crap. Shouldn't have said anything about a new QB.

"You know what Riker.. I don't even know." I said and motioned for him to follow me to sit down.

"Okay..." He said, clearly confused about our whole conversation.

-----------

So, this story was inspired by the new Nickelodeon show Bella And The Bulldogs. I thought it was so amazing, so I decided to write an R5 fanfiction with pretty much the same storyline, just with my own twists. Midnight Red is also included in this story. In the story, Anthony Ladao was the star quarterback, but after a freak incident when the coach sees an amazing throw by Rydel Lynch, the coach invites Rydel to try out for the team, and she makes the team, making Anthony her wide receiver. The guys on the team hate that there is a girl on the team, and don't accept her as one of the players, but eventually warm up to her. So yeah.. Hope you enjoy! :$
