Chapter 2: Talking about Powers

The Parr's were eating Breakfast without (Y/N) and Bob as they were at work at the Daily Planet with one of their best friends, Clark Kent.

Violet: Mom, why are we not like dad?

Dash: Speak for yourself. I have his speed.

Helen: Actually Dash, you don't. Your speed did not come from your father. It's your own power.

Dash: So, my speed is not because of dad?

Helen: No. Your fast enough to run on water. Your father is fast enough to turn back time.

Violet: Wow. So dad could've turned back time right now and we wouldn't know about it?

Helen: Exactly.

Dash: What about Jack-Jack? Is he like dad?

Jack-Jack laughs and looks at his brother and sister.

Helen: Jack-Jack hasn't shown any signs of powers. We don't know if he'll have his own power, his father's powers or if he'll just be a normal person.

Everyone finished eating Breakfast and Helen helped get Dash and Violet ready for school as she was. Mirage offered to take them to school as she passed the school on her way to her new workplace. Helen accepted Mirage's offer as she had to look after Jack-Jack. Another day as a regular person.
