Dr : it's a Heart surgery in children is done to repair heart defects a child is born with (congenital heart defects) and heart diseases a child gets after birth that need surgery. The surgery is needed for the child's wellbeing.

Dr : The defects in the arteries and veins near the heart. They can disrupt the normal flow of blood through the heart. The blood flow can slow down, go in the wrong direction or to the wrong place, or be blocked completely.

Shivaay most of babies go through this , it is serious but not that much like we can't cure , the medical facilities have grown so baby girl would be absolutely fine and the heart defect baby has is almost 30% only which is way to less so relax
