// PEOPLE LEAVE SCARS \\
{pic above is Seraphina's room}
Seraphina Swan, a seventeen year old brunette who loved her father too much to just...abandon him when her mother and unidentical twin sister, Bella did. Although, she was once filled with so much hope.
Every night for two months, Seraphina would always ask her father, "When's Mommy coming home? When's Bella coming home?", but Seraphina would always receive the same answer.
"I don't think they are."
Where Seraphina was once a four year old little girl, wishing her mommy and sister come back to her and her father, she was different.
She closed herself off, only opening herself to those she perceived to not abandon her. You could guess that Seraphina had abandonment issues, but she would always say otherwise.
So, as Seraphina lay in her bed, wide awake and unwavering as she stared towards her ceiling, which was really her window and - because she hadn't put the blind down - she watched the stars.
And she watched them with such fascination, she never heard her father coming into the room.
"Heya, kiddo." He said in his usual, tired gruff voice. He was thankful to the girl, who had stayed behind despite her mother's protests and begs for the girl to go with her. "Sara?"
"Hmm?" Seraphina hummed, glacing towards the side of her bed, where her father had now perched himself. Charlie Swan was a sweetheart, until you hurt his baby girl and then he was mean. And you'd be dead. So, when Charlie saw the distanced look in his daughter's eyes, he didn't understand what was wrong and his over-protective fatherly-ness had kicked in.
"Everything alright? Did a boy hurt you? I swear i will get my gun-"
"No, Dad, i'm alright." Seraphine chuckled through the dampening thoughts she had in her mind. It was a constant battle, and, she feared that if she did not get help soon, Seraphina will lose.
"Okay, just making sure." Charlie breathed out, resting a warm hand on her leg. He smiled sadly at Seraphina before clearing his throat. "Why don't we, uh...go out? For dinner?"
"That sounds great, thanks." Seraphina smiled in appreciation before a sudden boast of energy filled the girl. She sat upright quickly, groaning at the head-rush before shooing her father out the room. "Go. I need to change."
Charlie got up, holding his hands in the air in mock surrender and chuckled.
"Don't take an hour!" He called as he walked down the hallway, towards the stairs.
"Don't take five minutes!" Seraphina yelled back, giggling as she did so. She truly loved her father.
