(I am really starting to think that canonically, Kirishima might have an inferiority complex. Idk if this has already been said but I'm gonna say it anyway. He seems to always be comparing himself to others and then scolding himself for not being able to do some of the things that they can. An example would be Mina and how she didn't hesitate to protect her friends from Gigantomachia, while he was kind of frozen in fear.)
