Chapter 4

Oakley's POV

I walk up to my locker and open it to get my dance bag but soon it's slammed shut by Ray and Scott, I open it back up and get my stuff before closing it myself and looking at both of them

"What is it guys" I say and they just laugh a bit before looking back at me

"We hears your in the band that's taking half our set from us, what's up with that man" Scott says as he crosses his arms

"Yea what's up with that captain, didn't know you hung out with losers" Ray says

"My sister and our friends aren't losers assholes, plus we're good so leave me alone about it alright" I say and I should check them before walking away but soon my dance bag is taken from me, I turn around quickly to see Ray holding it

"Dude give that back" I say angrily but he makes a pouty face at me before laughing

"What in here....bet it's some music notes or some lyrics" Ray says as he digs in my bag, I got to stop him but it's too late, he pulls out my dance uniform and laughs, I finally look around to see everyone looking at laughing too

"Oh and she's a dancer too, this just got better" Scott says as he takes my uniform from Ray, suddenly Mo comes out the crowd and takes my uniform before passing it to me, I snatch my bag out his hands before leaving and heading to the field, I need to blow off some steam

Mo's POV

I watch Oakley run off causing me to sigh, I turn to Scott who's laughing and high fiving other guys around him

"Scott what the hell was that" I say angrily

"Just putting the freak in her place, she was asking for it" He says and I cringe at his words

"Scott she likes to dance and is in a band so what.....Oakleys cool and you just humiliated her" I say and he just shakes his head

"Your really defending her.......Mo you know she has feelings for you right, she's lame and she thinks she better so we knocked her down a peg" He says, I just shake my head and walk away from him, he calls after me but I just decide to head to the detention room to talk to the band.....I- we can't lose Oakley

Oakley's POV

I walk into the lunch room with my head down as I hear a few laughs and giggles from undoubtedly Ray and Scott's groupies, ignore them and sit with Wen and Charlie as they talk to Mo

"Hey what happened yesterday" Charlie asks

"Got exposed for being in dance and the band......had to blow off some steam" I say irritatedly

"What's so bad about that" He says offended, I roll my eyes and just start eating my food, suddenly I look over and see Ray and his groupies around my sister, I get up instantly and go over to them

"Hey...what's going on here" I say as I put Olivia behind me protectively

"Nothings wrong twinkle toes, just talking to your sister" Ray says but I know he's trying to mess with her

"Leave her alone Ray" I say but he ignores me

"Your the lead singer of the new band right" He says to Olivia

"Yea" She says nervously and I grab her hand

"Why don't you just belt one out for us" He says and I cut in

"Ray don't be a toll alright, I'm gonna tell you again to leave my sister alone" I say starting ti get increasingly angry as he tries to make my sister uncomfortable

"Bro just leave her alone" Wen says from beside us

"And your gonna make me" Ray says

"Your being a creep Ray" Mo says and he makes a pouty face before going over to Wen trying to intimidate him

"Ray back up off him" I say pushing Ray backs who puts his hands up amused

"Wow, twinkle toes has some strength to her" He says trying to be funny

Suddenly Stella comes up and taps Ray on the shoulder, he turns around and looks at her

"What" He says shrugging his shoulder

Stella take a big gulp of the lemonade she's holding and spits it at Ray, we all start laughing as he stands there shocked and wiping his face

I laugh and Ray comes over to me and grabs me causing me to push him hard and he comes back to me but soon Principal Branigan comes over on his scooter

"What's going on here" He says and I just know he's about to lie his ass off

"Principal Branigan....I was coming over to get a turbo blast and they just start threating me and lemonade mouth her spits all over me" He says and everyone starts arguing as Principal Branigan writes down detention slips for all of us and he looks at me and gives me a stern look before riding off

"Got lucky this time freak" Ray says before walking away with his groupies

I look at the other with sympathy before we all sit down and have the rest of lunch together

I walk into the locker room with the guys after practice and over to my locker, the guys don't care that I'm on the soccer tea, only Ray and Scott really do which I'm happy about

I start changing but soon i hear my name being called

"White.....in my office" Coach yells and a bunch of ouuuss come from my teammates but I wave them off before walking into Coaches office and closing the door

"What's up Coach" I say and he smiles at me

"Congratulations Oakley, your officially the only captain of the scooter team" He says causing me to smile but soon it changes to confusion

"Wait what, what happened to Scott" I say

"He was causing drama and I heard about the incident in the hallway a few days ago so I took his co captain title but that's all so get out my office and don't get into anymore trouble like today" He says and I smile and thank him before leaving

I walk out and change as my teammates pat me on the back and congratulate me, I walk out of the locker room and soon I'm met with Scott himself

"Congratulations freak, got me kicked from being co captain" He says bitterly

"Yea well don't be an ass next time" I say and go to walk away but he grabs my bag and pulls me back

"You may have the soccer team but.....my band is still ten times better than yours and your gonna bomb at the Halloween bash.......I just know it" He say before shoulder checking me and leaving, I smirk as I turn to the exit, suddenly I get a text from the band group chat

Wen got a sing for us and it's amazing, we're gonna rock the bash~ Sis🎙💕

I smile and leave the school while thinking.....

A/n ok well I updated this story so y'all got your fix and next chapter should be the Halloween bash and honestly something in me wants to make a starstruck story but I won't because ummmmmm idk I may but idk
