Reasons for Selection

Those who were selected fell out of the portal were quick to jump to their feet and look around and those who had fighting experience were ready for an attack, a man dressed in white with a glare that can unsettle the most fearless of men stood there, just, watching. "Hello" said the man with a voice as deep and gravelly as a chain smoker but more intimidating than a military veteran. "I'm the Ghost and I brought you here for a very specific reason, to prevent a catastrophe. Now that catastrophe was the Earth destroyed and put into an advanced aliens 'collection'. And before you ask, we are currently in space if you just look out the window over there". As the Ghost says this a a panel that goes up to the top of a roof as big as a warehouses roof opens and let's them see outside into space.

"This is so shway" said a short, brown skinned girl with brown hair that goes down to her shoulders. A boy who looked like her but younger said "Yeah. You're right Nora this is shway". Then he started jumping up and down and yells "I've always wanted to go to space!". The Ghost then piped in "We get it you're in space now introduce yourselves and the year your from and I will input when needed. And just so you know, you were all selected for a reason. Some different than others. Some of you are here to understand why those closest to you are keeping secrets, and some of you are here so I can show you why it is important to stick together. Because in the year 2215 he comes and he destroys Earth. Right when we were rebuilding from the Vandal Savage incident in 2166. And he succeeded because the heros of Earth didn't have a strong foundation so not only did they lose to Vandal Savage the first time, we lost the whole world to a green skinned alien that is named 'Brainiac'". Ghost then points over to a caucasian man with shoulder length, black hair and says "He should know what I'm talking about. Now, let's start. Who's going first?"

"I am Nyssa Al Ghul, heir to the demon, and I am from the year 2012".

"I am Moira Queen, I'm from the year 2012, what does the year have to do with anything?"

Ghost responds with "Well Mrs. Queen, some of you are from different points in time. For example Brainy here," he points over to the same man from earlier, 'Brainy' and continues "is from the 31st century." At this he gets some unbelieving laughs, before Brainy says "I am indeed from the 31st century. I don't see what is so funny?" After Brainy says this Thea Queen responds with "Nobody believes that story one bit, if you're going to pretend to be from a time your not, just say the 90s or something".

Just as Brainy was about to respond the Ghost yells out "Enough! Finish introducing yourselves. Or I'll do it for you when I carve your names into tombstones." At this the room goes silent from the way the threat sounded so the next person went, "Malcolm Merlyn, 2012".

"I'm Curtis Holt, I'm from 2012 and let me say this, it is an honor to be greeted by you. I've read all of the articles of you online, how have you lived this long, where did you get your training, how-" "Curtis, breathe" said the Ghost. "I'll answer all of your questions when I'm ready, but for now, let's continue".

"Slade Wilson" as he said this Oliver Queen was about to throw himself at Slade before a knife flew by his head and imbedded itself into the wall, "Let him speak princess. You didn't even hear which year he's from." at that Oliver backed down, temporarily. Ghost made a motion for Slade to continue so he did "I'm from the year 2019. I'm sorry kid. I wasn't in the right state of mind but the serum made it's way out of my system a long time ago". Oliver looked at Slade with distrust in his eyes, something Slade could see as bright as day, so he trusted that Ghost would show them or tell them about it, eventually.

"Next" said the Ghost and another person stepped up. "McKenna Hall, police officer, and from the year 2012" McKenna emphasized that she was a police officer, a piece of information the Ghost didn't care about as he could take down 20 armed cops in under 5 minutes so 1 cop wasn't all that much.

"Helena Bertinelli, 2012."

"Dinah Lance, 2012".

"Lyla Michaels, 2012."

"John Diggle, 2012, hey Lyla, long time no see" Lyla responded "It has, I hope we can catch up before we leave".

"I'm from 2019 and my name is," she looked around the room to see everyone looking at her and she decided to just, go for it " and my name is Emiko Queen". With that, the Queen family, minus Moira, went silent for a moment, then started yelling.

"Shut up!" yelled the Ghost. "Let everyone introduce themselves, eveything will be explained later."

"Dinah Drake, 2012."

"Oliver Queen, 2012." He said this as he looked at everyone he didn't know with distrust plus those he didn't like and glared at Ghost when he saw him.

"Felicity Smoak, 2012 and I must say this place looks really technological and I have to ask, who built it?" Ghost responded "Technically, NASA, this is an old space station that nobody knew about and when we found it we technically broke in and we upgraded the place, made it better and made it a working base of operations. This 'place' as you put it, is called the Watchtower. The upgrades are also based off of some designs from the greatest minds of YOUR time." Felicity asked "Who, Elon Musk?" So Ghost responded "No. You are actually the main inspiration for most of the upgrades here. Now you can freak out in silence while everyone else introduces themselves."

"Detective Quintin Lance, 2012."

"Tommy Merlyn, 2012."

"Laurel Lance, 2012."

"Roy, 2012." "Full name." Said the Ghost. So Roy says "Roy Harper, 2012."

"Thea Queen, 2012."

"René Ramirez, 2012, what do I have to I do with any of the this?" Ghost says "I told you that you were all here for a reason so I trust that you will wait and see the reason for why you're here."

"Talia Al Ghul, 2012." As she says this she sends a look over to Oliver that says it's good to see you and then looks at Nyssa and says "Hello sister."

"I am Anatoly Knyazev and I am from 2012".

"Amanda Waller, 2012."

"Connor Hawke, 2038."

"William Clayton, 2038."

"Mia Queen, 2038." At that everyone turns to look at her "What?" She says. Then seeing the kind of looks being sent her way she says "Oh sorry I'm his daughter." At that she points a finger over towards Oliver then she point at William and says "That's my half brother. We don't have the same mother but we do have the same father." To say everyone that came from Star(ling) City freaked the hell out would be an understatement.

Hey everyone it's me again and sorry for cutting this short but it got a little too long. I get carried away sometimes so we have, whatever that is. I hope I did ok but, good news! Introductions should start soon after the next chapter. Sorry but I will get to the reacting soon. And I'm sorry for the cliff hanger but I needed a good ending to this chapter and that was staring at me so I took it. So again, just know I don't own the CW or DC Comics. Doesn't matter how much I wish I did but I don't.
