Scout was walking through the deep forest with his head down and started talking to himself.

"Oh, what am I gonna do? Whenever I try to make friends with anyone, I end up making them run away and never want to be around me.. But, I know if it wasn't for that surgeon taking away part of my scent gland, I would've died. But now it makes my spray irritable."

He then stomped his foot.

"If my spray is irritable, I can just try to control it. Yeah, If I control it, I won't scare others away and I can have friends again! That's what I'll do, whatever happens, I'll keep it inside!"

He then heard a rustle in the trees and a small long-clawed sloth-wolf walking past. She looked worried and was pacing back and forth. She was the same species as him and looked very pretty. Immediately he felt butterflies in his stomach. He tried looking away and minding his own business, but she started walking towards him.

"Excuse me sir, have you seen an egg anywhere?"

Scout looked at her in confusion, "An egg? No, I haven't seen an egg anywhere."

She sighed, "I've been looking for my friend's egg all day. She said she'd kill me if I lost it. She'll be back at her nest by dusk and I haven't much time left to find it. Can you help me?"

"Wow, that's quite the story. But sure, I'll help you find her egg."
