It is about 12 when you hear a horn honk outside of your house.
"Who is that?" Your mom asks
"One of my friends from school, we are going to go to the beach and swim for a little while." You say
"Ok, well have fun." She says
"I will, I love you!" You say
"Love you too honey!" She responds
You walk out of your house and see Kebo in his car, waiting for you, you open the passenger's side door and sit down.
"You ready? You have everything?" Kebo asks
"Yeah, I packed some water and some sandwiches." You say
"Sounds good, sorry for sending that revealing pic again." Kebo says
"It's ok, I don't really care." You say
"Ok, good. I just don't know" Kebo says "Do you like guys or girls?"
"I don't know, why?" You ask
"I don't know, I was just curious." Kebo says "you have to like someone."
"Yeah… I never have before, it's complicated." You respond "Do you like guys or girls?"
"I like girls." Kebo responds
"Do you have a crush on someone?" You ask
"Uhh… yeah… " Kebo says as he blushes
"Who?" You ask
"Uhh… you wouldn't know them." Kebo says
"Oh ok." You say
"Ugh… actually… oh nevermind." Kebo says
"What?" You ask
"It's…. Ugh…. I don't know." Kebo struggles as he blushes hard.
"It's ok, you can tell me anything, I will never judge you." You say
"Ok, I actually like guys…." Kebo says "Sorry I wanted to tell you, I just thought it would be weird!"
"It's ok, I understand. Just tell me what you need to say." You say
"And I…. like…. ugh…." Kebo struggles
"Just say what you need to say, it's ok." You say
"I just didn't know how to tell you!! I just don't want this to ruin our friendship!" Kebo says
"It won't, I am friends with Daniel and he is gay. What is the difference if it is you?" You say
"Oh, there is really none. Sorry I over reacted, I just thought that you would not see me as gay and that would be weird." Kebo says
"I don't really see you as being gay, but I like you. We are friends and why would I stop being friends with you over this?" You say
"You would not, thanks for being understanding and we are also almost at the beach." Kebo says
"Always, this is going to be fun!" You say
"Yeah, it's been a few months since I last swam!!" Kebo says
You arrive at the beach and find a parking spot, you then grab your bag and head out to the beach. You and Kebo find a spot near the water, the sun beating down on the white sand and the waves lapping at the shore. You hear two more cars pull up, it must have been Daniel, Chris, Vishnaw and Alexandria. Kebo walks back up to the parking lot to see if it is them, you lay down in the sand to feel the warm granularity of the sand. It is such a nice and welcoming feeling, you then hear the distant chattering of everyone coming to your spot.
