Annie’s POV

We all drove to the rink and piled out. Niall held my hand as we walked to the shoe rental.

“Hi, I need two pairs please,” Niall spoke politely.

“What sizes?” the man asked.

“Um, Men’s 12 and Women 8 please,” Niall replied.

(A/N I have no clue how big Niall’s feet are, so I guessed…)

“Here you go sir,” the man handed Niall the shoes.

“How much?” Niall asked.

“12.70 please,” the man replied.

(A/N Hey Meghan! How did you like the number 70?)

“Here you go,” Niall handed the man the money and walked me over to a bench.

“Size 8 for you love,” He said and handed me my shoes.

“Thank you!” I replied while un-lacing them to the point I could put them on. I put one shoe on but didn’t lace it. I was going to lace it after both shoes were on. I put the other shoe on and started to try to lace it up.

“Ugh,” I muttered as I couldn’t lace up the shoes. I was slowly becoming frustrated.

“Love, do you want help?” Niall asked me calmly. His shoes were perfectly tied.

“Maybe,” I said.

He smiled and started to lace up my shoes. I looked towards the ice rink and saw Kendall and Harry holding hands while they skated. I found Gemma and Liam skating along the side talking to each other. Zayn and Perrie were laughing and smiling while Zayn had his arm over her shoulder. Finally, I saw El and Lou. El was laughing as Louis made an odd face. I chuckled to myself.

“Ready to go love?” Ni asked me.

“I guess,” I replied nervously.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine,” He told me and grabbed my hand. He led me over to the rink and stepped on. I slowly stepped on after but quickly grabbed onto the wall. I started to drag myself across the ice using the wall while Ni did his lap around the rink.

“Annie, you have to let go off the wall,” Niall told me.

“No I don’t,” I replied.

“Love, if you want to learn then let me show you. Trust me,” I looked into his bright blue eyes and nodded.

“Ok, here, take my hand,” he said smiling. I took his hand and watched as he pulled me away from the wall. The wall was at least five feet away. I grabbed his arm and held tightly.

“Love, calm down, I have you,” he whispered in my ear and wrapped his arm around my waist. I loosened my grip on his arm.

“Good, now lets show you how to move. It’s like walking. Except you slide your feet,” he explained while moving his feet. I started to see what he was doing and tried it as well. Before I knew it I was moving with him. I smiled as we turned the corner together.

“See, its not to hard,” he smiled. I looked up at him and smiled. “Here, watch this,” he said and he turned in front of me and was now skating backwards. He held my hands as we skated. I couldn’t imagine a better moment.

Well that moment was ended when some crazed fan came and pushed me causing me to lose my balance and fall. The fan had made more come to Ni and I was left alone on the ice. “Annie!” Niall called and tried jumping.
