I wake up before the alarm goes on, it's the first day of school, and I'm a little excited. I have prepared everything, last night, and double checked, so that I don't forget anything.
My first class, Literature, starts at 9am, and I have exactly 3 hours until it starts. I go to the bathroom, and start taking a shower.
After I finished taking a shower, brushing my teeth, and fixing my hair which takes time, because I obsess over it. I don't want to look like a caveman on my first day, who does? I go to the kitchen, and make myself breakfast. I like eating Nutella with bananas.
When I start picking my bag from the floor, my mom screams "Liam, honey, wake up, you're going to be late for school," I sigh, she doesn't know me too well, I guess.
"I'm already up, I'm heading now." I roll my eyes.
"What are you doing up so early?"
"Didn't you just say that I would have been late?" I ask.
"No, stop making things up, darling," She tries to make a joke. Well at least she tried. Am I right?
I chuckle while saying, "Bye, mom, see you at dinner".
"Bye, Liam"
...
I go start to class after getting to my locker, I'm 45 minutes early, and there is no one in class. Thank God. I get to my seat at the front desk. My favorite seat, right in the middle of the class, first row.
I get my book out, I always get to school prepared.
Next thing I know, there are people getting inside the class. They don't even say hi. How rude of them. The teacher walks in 5 minutes before class starts, and tries to silence everyone in class. I however didn't even talk. So I just sat there. The bell just rang, which means he'll start introducing himself.
"Good morning, class. My name is Mr. Grimm, and let me just start taking the attendance," I don't usually like it when teachers take attendance, I feel like everyone is always looking at the person when their name is called out.
"David Adlam?" He asks.
"Yes"
"William Anderson?"
"Here"
He keeps on going, I try to listen, just so that if my name comes up I wouldn't be late in saying 'here'. My thoughts are interrupted when the door swings open, and a girl with blonde hair, and blue eyes, wakes in, without even apologizing.
"And you may be?" The teacher asks the girl.
"You don't know me? Oh that's a shock. It's Emma Jackson, by the way," she says with a lot of attitude.
"Ah, have a seat then, Ms. Jackson,"
"Will do,"
After I said that I was there to the teacher, I get my notebook out, and open it. The teacher tells us that we will be reading a classic called 'Pride and Prejudice'. I like that book, of course I read it.
The bell rings, and Mr. Grimm dismisses us.
The same thing happened in all my other classes; the teachers introduced themselves and then we had to do attendance. All our teachers did not give us any homework for tomorrow. So most students were happy. I mean all the students.
I'm actually going to try and talk to someone tomorrow, maybe someone likes reading too.
( I just started this today, and like I updated twice. I hope you like the story, I'm taking my time because I don't want to rush into the story, I feel like it'll be unrealistic if i rush it. So comment, and vote xx Thank you <3 )
