Enya and all of the other first years gazed around the castle as they took their first steps inside. She had heard that the chosen one was attending Hogwarts. She spotted him, and the scar on his forehead. Accidentally, someone bumped into her. She turned to see the scarred forehead, a girl clutching a book, and a red haired boy. "Watch it eh" she said sternly as she glanced at the group "Ah so it's true, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts" She slyly grins. "Shove off why don't you" the red head piped in, defending Harry. "Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe, you must be a Weasley" A voice echoed from behind Enya. She turned to see a platinum blonde haired boy on her right side, and a brown haired boy on her left. "You will soon find that some people are better than others, Potter. Don't go making friends with the wrong ones" He slightly lifted his head up, looking at the red head and the curly haired girl. "I think I can tell the right friends from the wrong on my own, thank you" Harry answered, overlooking the three people standing in front of him. Weasley and Harry both looked at Enya before walking off. Harry with pure hatred, and Weasley with a slight smile. Enya twirled around to the two boys, "Enya Brennan" she smiled. "Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. And this is Gregory Goyle" The blonde haired boy smiled. She smiled as they started chatting, instantly becoming the best of friends. "Before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin" The three looked at each other, knowing they would all get the same house, as they were all cunning, sly, and determined. The first years all followed the professor in the pointy hat, into the Great Hall. They all quietly walked through the middle of the tables, up to the front. The lady pulled out a piece of paper "As I call your name please walk up here and sit in the stool to get sorted." She held an old hat in her other hand. "Draco Malfoy" he smiled as he walked up to the stool, leaving behind Goyle and Enya. Before the hat was placed onto his head it shouted "Slytherin" He grinned as he walked to the Slytherin table, reserving two seats as he hoped his two friends would get sorted into his house. Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger all got sorted into Gryffindor, as they all sat beside each other with a few more red heads. Goyle was now seated by Draco, a seat left in between them, waiting for the most devious of the three. "Enya Brennan" The lady called out. She walked up to the stool with so much confidence, knowing where she would be sorted. The professor lightly placed the hat on her head. "A Brennan, very cunning determined young lady. I know just what to do with you- Slytherin" She grinned as the Slytherin table cheered, as did Draco and Goyle. She skipped her way over to the table, sitting between the two boys. They earned many glares from the Gryffindor table, more specifically, Harry, Ron, and even Hermione. Hermione was seated in the middle of Ron and Harry, glaring at Enya. Ron glaring at Goyle, and Harry at Draco. The three smiled at the jealous Gryffindors and turned their attention to the front of the great hall, watching everyone else get sorted. "I suppose Potter and his friends despise us already" Draco said as he glanced at Enya, and then to the Gryffindor table. Her eyes were cold and dark, hard to read. She rolled her eyes and smiled at Draco "Who cares. They are nothing, but we-" she gestured to the three of them "We will run this school" She smirked as Draco and Goyle both looked at her. Smiles grew upon their faces, the three cunning Slytherins. Soon, food appeared on the tables. They didn't eat much, as they were chatting about what was to come.
As they exited the great hall, Enya felt something brush against her hand. She looked around to see no one close to her. She turned back around to see a nervous Ron walking with his friends. Draco glared at them. "Don't touch her Weasel" Harry, Ron and Hermione stopped, as did Draco, Enya, and Goyle. Harry was standing in the middle of his friends, Enya of hers. "Now Draco, play nice" Enya deviously smiled "I can handle this myself" Draco looked at her and nodded his head. Enya turned her attention back to the rivalry trio, "I would like it if you didn't touch me" She stated coldly at Ron. "I'm sure he didn't mean it, the doorway was crowded" Hermione chirped in. Draco, Enya and Goyle turned their attention to her. "No one asked your opinion, you filthy little mudblood" Draco snapped at her. She furrowed her eyebrows at Draco angrily as tears formed in her eyes. Harry glared at the girl in the middle, she smiled and quickly raised her eyebrows and let them back down. Enya interlocked her arms with Goyles and Dracos, and pulled them in the direction of their common room, in the dungeons.
When they walked into the common room, they sat on a black leather sofa. "They are such little nightmares" Draco rolled his eyes and leaned back onto the couch. Enya let out a scoff "Well of course they are, they are Gryffindors after all. They think they are so high on a pedestal and that we are beneath them" Goyle nodded his head in agreement. "Especially Harry, seems as he survived an attack from you know who. Killed his parents, but he lived" Enya turned to Goyle and then looked back forward. "Surely you've heard about it, I mean he is the boy who lived" Goyle added. Enya and Draco nodded. "I suppose we should unpack in our dormitories" Enya sighed as she stood up, the boys after. "Meet back in the common room when done?" Goyle asked. Draco and Enya nodded, walking to their dormitories. As Enya opened the door, she was greeted with a lavish darn green, black, and silver themed room. On the left dresser, held a cage, for her black rat snake. She opened her trunk and pulled out all of her expensive clothing and put them in her wardrobe. Her parents paid Dumbledore double, so she has her own dorm. She walked over to her mirror on the wall, a gold frame around it. She looked into the mirror, staring at her reflection. She sighed and sat in a lounge chair. After awhile, she decided to go back down to the common room. Walking down the stair case she was greeted with many smiles and polite nods from upper years, until she saw her two friends on one of the couches by the fire place. She slowly made her way, sitting down across from them. She looked around, and then back to the boys. "How about we have a little fun?" Draco asked. Enya smirked as Goyle nodded his head in agreement.
Draco stood up, grabbing his friends arms and their wands, making their way out of the common room. They walked about the corridors. Enya soon found herself and the boys out in the courtyard, making their way to the dark and forbidden forest. She turned to Draco, and then to Goyle. Stupidly, as they entered, they all went separate ways. Enya traveled through the forest, soon becoming fascinated with everything she saw. As she went deeper and deeper into the forest, she heard twigs snapping. She looked to the ground, silver liquid being trailed to an opening. She looked around and slowly approached carefully, still keeping a good distance. She saw a white unicorn body, laying there. Something in a cloak standing over it, sucking the blood from the unicorns neck. Her jaw dropped as she slowly stepped backwards. As she took another step she tripped over a log, letting out a cry. The cloaked creature twisted its head towards her, and slowly crept towards her. Enya kicked her legs, her heels digging into the ground, slowly inching her way away from whatever was closing in on her. "Draco, Goyle" She yelled, not knowing how far she traveled into the woods on her own. "Someone help me!" She cried out as she couldn't move, the creature now over her. It's claws dug into the ground, inches away from her head. Opening its mouth, it let out a low growl. A tear fell from Enyas eye as she screamed out again. "Lumos" an unfamiliar voice said, as light peered from the owners wand. The creature now shrieking, running off. Enya laid on the ground before standing up, shivering. Her back to whoever saved her, she couldn't face them quite yet. "How did you find me? I'm so far into these woods, I was sure to be unfounded" She wiped a tear from her face as she sniffled, pulling her cloak up to her chin. "I followed you, as you went your separate way from Draco and Goyle. I heard you scream, I just came running" He took a step forward, towards Enya. "No please don't come any closer" She pleaded. He stopped "It's alright" He tried his best to comfort the terrified girl. She sat down, leaning her back against a tree. She pulled her knees to her chest, resting her arms on them, and burying her face into her arms. She continued to shiver. Several twigs started snapping as a boy came into the clearing. "Enya?" His frightened voice called out as he saw her. He dropped next to her as she lifted her head up. "Draco" She let out a sigh of relief as she held his forearm. He took off his cloak and wrapped it around her shivering body. "Come on let's get back to the castle" He stood up, holding onto Enya's arm. He looked to the boy standing there with a lighted wand, "Weasley" He said coldly. Enya snapped her head up, making eye contact with Ronald. Her sad eyes quickly turned ice cold. "Y-you followed me here? And for what?" She raised her voice a little. Ron just looked down. "Answer her Weasley" Draco piped in. "Enya I'm s-" She shook her head. "Just stop Ronald. Draco can we please leave?" Enya pleaded as he nodded his head. He wrapped a hand around her back as he slowly started walking back the way they came from, Enya still shaking. As Draco and Enya exited the woods, Goyle was waiting by the tree line. He ran to them, "En are you alright?" He asked as he placed his hands on her shoulders. She nodded as he pulled her into a hug. Goyle moved to the left side of Enya, Draco to the right as they walked back into the castle.
The three made their way to the common room. Enya sat in the floor in front of the fire place. Draco grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders. She slightly smiled as the boys sat on the couches. She rubbed her hands together, then holding them up to the fire. As she sat there, she stared into the roaring flames. The red and orange flames consumed her thoughts, and so did a certain ginger who had saved her in the woods an hour prior. She still didn't know why he had saved her, but she knew that she was grateful. However, they were enemies. He was a Gryffindor, she was a Slytherin. It was fire on fire.
