Butterfly - Vernon ( Seventeen)

I was currently in the practice room as my group  Wingless Butterflies is about to debut under Pledis Entertainment were having to cover BTS's Mikrokosmos, Seventeens Don't Wanna Cry and Enhypen's Fever. We are also doing BTS's butterfly to announce the final line up.

We are all super excited but I'm more nervous then anything as this is a debut race. There's 8 left but only 4 can be butterflies.

I really want to debut as I've been training for the last 3 years. I didn't just go threw " project butterflies" to not debut.

Me and my 3 best friends are all in the race along with 4 other girls. There is Me, Rosie, Lina, May, Iasstraya, Elenyi and Journey. My best friends are Iasstraya but her real name is  Iris, Elenyi and Journey

We want to debut as 8 but was told we couldn't.

When all the other members left I kept practicing. I was nervous for Butterfly. It would tell us who would debut or not. I kept practicing until Seventeens own Vernon, S.Coups, DK and Woozi walked into the room.

I kept practicing until the song was over. I had to get this right. It was my last chance. I lost another shows like " Idol School"  where I could of debuted in Formis_9 and " JYP's Sixteen" which I came one spot below debut and lost out of being in twice. This was my last chance, if I don't debut now I promised my mom I'd give up and go back home and help on the farm. 

" Angelica you work hard but you really need to learn to rest" Vernon said.

I said " no time to rest. I must debut. Only practice will make that happen".

Woozi said " you have been practicing since this time last night".

I just replied with " I have to practice! I must practice! I don't care if we have known each other as long as we have, I Must Debut. End of story" while drinking some water and fixing my hair putting it back up into a ponytail.

" Angelica if I must call mom I will" my brother DK spoke firmly.

" call her I am getting back to practice" I spoke.

" Angelica please just rest you have two more days until you find out if you debuted" S.Coups spoke trying to take my hand.

DK whispered something to my boyfriend Vernon and he smirked. Oh no. I know what's coming.

Vernon said " I'm using the boyfriend card, now you must stop".

I groaned. " stupid boyfriend card".

He smirked and said " well I like it, next time don't cancel a date to practice".

I said " may I at least practice my solo one more time".

He nodded and I started my solo music getting into position.

When I finished I looked over at the boys and they looked at me shocked. Even my brother was speechless.

It was about the long road to debut. How I was in an abusive relationship before I was accepted as a trainee by PLEDIS and meet Vernon. How I've gone through so many hardships to get where I am today.

~~~~The following day ~~~~

We all did our performance but now it was time to sing butterfly. We would all sing and our mic would be tuned off if we were disqualified.

As we sang we all sounded really good until all we heard was a mic turn off. It was Lina's mic. She was now standing on a red section on the stage. She looked crushed. We kept singing and Journeys light green! She made it! She made debut!

We kept singing and another mic turned off. It was May's she was now standing in a red spot. We looked around and Iasstrayas was pink! We were all confused but her mic stayed on! She debuted too!

It was just me, Rosie, Lina and Elenyi left. We were all nervous! I almost cried when Rosie's and Linas mic both turned off. Me and Elenyi had our mic's on but no colours turned on. Just the regular stage colour. Suddenly Elenyi's turned Purple and mine turned blue.

When the performance finished another song started. It was Bruno Mars's just the way you are.

We looked around and suddenly I saw Vernon, DK, S.Coups and Woozi singing coming towards us. As they sang they had a card in their hand. Must be who is which position. When they had finished all mics were turned off and Vernon said " you got this im so proud of you". I smiled and was about to give him a hug and kiss but I had to hold it back.

I almost cried when I opened my paper

" Wingless Butterflies Leader, Visual and Hyung Line."

Im the leader! Oh my god I'm the leader. As I looked over at the screen behind us Woozi said " Congratulations on debut, as I call your name stand at wings that represent you".

He called everyone's but mine and Iris's.

He said " Angelica".

I walked over to the most beautiful wings that had leader above it and my brothers mouth dropped.

Soon we stated our after debut videos. I was scared to do mine. It also contains our solos. I was nervous as I had to speak publicly afterwards.

When it came times to do my speech I spoke and cried during it.

" I can't believe I finally hit this point. I'm a member of wingless butterflies. You our amazing fans Is our wings to let us soar. To cause all of our stresses melt away. While we have the support of our family and friends life still gives you challenges. One being the younger sister of seventeens own DK" I smiled.

" I''m sorry you were born my sister, not like I had a choice button nose" DK screamed from the side of the stage.

" just cause he calls me button nose doesn't mean everyone can do" I laughed.

" ITS BUTTON" Iris screamed doing her button nose joke.

I just laughed. " I've come this far and I believe that getting this opportunity has created a whole new world to me. I have the support of my members, our  " wings" ( fans), family and friends and most of all for me the person who encouraged me to follow my dreams which got me standing here today my Fiancé Vernon, member of Seventeen".
