"HAPPY BIRTHDAY honora you fantastic bitch." liliana shouted, waking honey up from her sleep. after a moment or two of waiting for her eyes to adjust, there stood her sister in the doorway of her bedroom, a bright smile on her face.

"morning sleepy head."

"you couldn't think to give me a fucking lie in liliana." honey mumbled, rubbing the sleep away from her eyes. she saw her sister shake out a laugh before making a beeline for honey's bed, crashing down beside her.

"it's not everyday you turn twenty-two." liliana spoke, leaning her head on honey's shoulder, before she then felt honey rest her on head on top of her own. "-i don't know about you, but I'm feeling-"

liliana stopped, looking at her sister to finish the sentence when she instead she just got a glare- honey still annoyed over the fact of being woken up abruptly.

"let's try that again." liliana clapped her hands. "-i don't know about you, but i'm feeling-"

"twenty-two." honey sung, a smile unconsciously creeping onto her face as liliana smiled. "-everything will be alright if you keep me next to you."

"yes honey! you channel that inner taylor swift." the two sisters smiled, wrapping their arms around one another. "also i forget how good of a voice you have."

"okay it may be my birthday lili but you don't need to lie." honey shrugged off liliana's comment, knowing her sister was only saying that because she was her sister. it wasn't true.

"honora, birthday or not- it's true you bitch." liliana ruffled her sisters hair- bringing a sigh of annoyance to be exhaled by the younger girl out of the two. "anyway- get yourself ready whilst i make pancakes."

"are you feeling okay lili?" honey asked with a confused expression- never did her sister offer to make pancakes- to which honey always questioned why cause liliana was one of the best cooks- especially when making pancakes.

"it's not everyday that it's your birthday- so take the nice act I'm giving you." and with that, liliana left the room, giving a laughing honey a wave goodbye.

messages on her phone from both friends and family were popping up on honey's phone as she picked it up off from the bedside table. a chime alongside the words of corbyn texting her was caught by honey's eyes- making a small smile crawl onto her lips.

'happy birthday honey- see you later today :) x'

the small, simple but effective message did make honey smile more. she responded with a thank you, as well as saying she will see him later- as him and jonah were due to tag along to the families birthday party they had planned for honey. and when honey and liliana were due to eventually ditch the birthday party, they were going to go out drinking with the group- before going out again tomorrow night.

before it was just going to be jonah tagging along- thanks to him dating liliana of course- but since having made their plan together, honey asked corbyn to tag along- as she damn well knew bethany was going to bring adam, just to piss off and upset honey on her birthday.

because she was that type of person.

but two can play that game. but it was also a way of corbyn and honey to get their minds off their exes- so if that was with one another, then that's what they would do.
