200 hundred years ago"Please have mercy on us!" The two maids cry as the rope tied around their necks slowly tightened, heavier breaths and tears filling up their pale fearful faces. Their cries spread around the dungeon unable to fill someone's ears. They were in the room by themselves. Only accompanied by the sound of their voice echoing around the brick walls.
As they struggled on, the ropes only got tighter as the pull of the rope sensed movement.
"Please have mercy on us! We are innocent! The flower is evil! The witch will escape if you don't kill off the buds or burn them!" The older one of the maids tried to cry out, their voices were soon softer and softer til it was simply nothing. The young queen behind the doors listening got their cries with tears falling from her face in fear. Her hair was in a braided bun, the crown was a red ruby assorted with a gown that made anyone want to stare. It had the best design in the world and made anyone look like royalty.
Are they still alive? The young queen thought, desperately wishing to open the door with the key which was tricky to pick open. Only the most trusted guard had the key, but now he is dead along with the key. Locking the doors away from anyone's eyes to discover.
"My love, Mira. You are too soft, a nice dinner will help you get rid of the nerves." The tyrant king suggested pulling her away from the door forcefully. In a jealous rage, Mira turns away from him, facing the traitor maids. Ignoring the pout on his lips, the disappointment and guilt, ignoring the feelings of pain and fear.
The tyrant king caressed her shoulders softly with hums, a hum only a deep forest creature could understand. Trying to calm her down, but this only made her want to escape his misery of a touch. Looking at his queen, shocked by her mannerisms, confused on why she was acting differently. She was all on him earlier and wanting all his attention and now she wants nothing to do with him.
"Why are you holding me? You told me yourself we are only an act? I thought you were smarter than that." The young queen Mira muttered, shaking her body out from his cold hands. Marching back to the dining room through the doors of the underground dungeon. The young king smiled at her response, confused whether to be turned on by her action or angry? . She never was this expressive even when they were in bed.
Everyone around them could see the queen and king weren't as happy as they seemed to advocate. She didn't find any comfort in the king's actions and found him a tyrant as his name was to be. His attempts were futile, and the servants could all tell he was getting desperate. Very desperate.
"Get a carriage for tomorrow, and don't tell her the reason."The young king's once boyish smile turned cold, and his face changed to hide his misery. Joining back in the party, the two lovers come together, neither of them reaching for their hands.
After the king left the dungeon's doors, black haunting shadows detach from the king's body, shadowless they would whisper.
Each step sounded an eerie scream from the dungeon within, filling the servants and guards with chills down their spines. Skin pale with terrible intensity fear, hands shaking at every step haunting their way, they could only watch as the doors closed. Keeping the monster inside.
The torches blew cold at a sudden gust but relit a blaze higher. The guards held their swords with hesitation, one brave soul decided to peek inside. One was missing and the other was torn up with bloody words written on the ground.
The bloody queen will rise
