The baby princess woke to the sound of rain. Her eyelashes fluttered open to see the green scaled dragon rapped around her so she would be protected. She remembered the long night that Asterid and her had had. They couldn't find Barra, but did find a cave that saved them from the rain. She saw that it was leaky and dry, but all she wanted to do was find Barra. Her small cry woke the snoring dragon and as he grunted like all dragon's do when they have been woken, he stared at the feeble child and laid a claw in her tiny palm. She cooed thanking him in a way, and he picked her up carefully just as Barra had. He placed her in the basket after picking it up last night so the baby would be more comfortable and held it in his front paws. Asterid knew this would be a perfect time to search from the sky so he flew out into the sun rise.
The baby giggle as the rain ceased and she saw the dew sprinkled onto the fields below. Asterid smiled and suddenly saw movement in the trees down below. In one swift move, he landed in front of Barra who looked startled to see him.
"I thought you would have return the baby by now." She sneered.
"I'm helping you hid the child you fool of a women!!! I searched all night for you and all I get is a lousy, you aren't suppose to find me because I'm scared!!" Asterid looked outraged while Barra looked stars struck.
She said in a low voice, "Just help me keep the child there." She pointed it to a distant shadow. As he squinted, he finally saw the destination.
"A tower?"
